It is often believed that the present generation is living in the best of times in world history. While I reckon this opinion is certainly true as today our lives are more convenient than any other time in the past, to get to live in the early 1900s would be an interesting choice as one could see the simplicity life had in those years.

In the contemporary epoch, enormously high levels of carbohydrates in commercial meals and beverages are the source of health issues. There is an idea of encouraging individuals to consume less sugar by increasing the prices of sugar products. Personally, I firmly believe that there is a defensible basis for this approach.

In recent decades, due to the excessive consumption of plastic materials, our environment has been exposed to severe contamination. According to statistics, some people are still willing to use them, regardless of the harmful effects of this trend. Given that usage of these products can have irreparable consequences, competent authorities could certainly adopt preventative measures or take steps to address this issue.

In recent times, social areas in metropolises have become exceptionally noisy. With advances in modern medicine, people are now able to live longer. This has caused the rise of an aging population and new expenses for their care.
