Most businesses channel their money to social online platforms, such as magazines and on billboards, to advertise their services or products. As a result of these advertisements, individuals tend to purchase unnecessary things. Even though advertisements can assist businesses to penetrate markets, customer over-purchasing is being observed remarkably these days, and that trend does have adverse effects on nature. Now we will discuss the pros and cons of consumerism.

It is often asserted that people who are earning lucrative compensation will spend more by buying a lot of items. Although there are certain drawbacks of this trend which are negligible in my opinion, the benefits of this culture are humungous such as improved living standards and economic growth of nations.

In the modern world, there are still some countries, which citizens are not engaged in the recycling process. Two main reasons for that situation are lack of infrastructure and ignorance of knowledge. To solve this problem, the government should launch social programs explaining the importance of recycling, as well as increasing the number of separate garbage collection points.
