In this day and age, the food which we eat is cultivated or processed several kilometres away from where it is being sold. In this essay I intend to delve into the advantages and disadvantages of such foods.

As global trade increases, many goods including those we use on a daily basis are produced in other countries and have to be transported long distance. Do the benefits of this trend outweigh the drawbacks?

Due to the increase in globalization, it has become a trend to import the products of daily usage from other countries even though these products have to travel longer distances. Although it has some advantages I believe this move of transporting the products from remote distances have more disadvantages such as heavy transportation cost and obsolete of local products.
