Some people claim that the media has a negative influence on contemporary society. They think that there is very little tolerance for new ideas because of its impact. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is a common belief that contemporary society has been a negative influence by the media, due to that they complicated to accept new ideas. However, I firmly believe that the media has a positive effect on society because mass media help develop a tolerance for distinct ways of thinking and make culture more diverse by developing new and original tendencies in the community.

Nowadays anyone can post news on the internet. As a result, we cannot trust the information we read there. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is well-known, that these days the internet provides the opportunity for anyone to upload and public material such as news at any time at any place therefore many people are concerned about whether the content can be trusted or not. In my opinion, it is a reasonable aspect due to we have to check data from the network before assuming it for reasons that are going to be provided below.

Some people think that having a set retirement age (e.g. 65 years) for everybody, regardless of occupation, is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive a pension at an earlier age. •Do you agree or disagree? •Which types of workers do you think should benefit from early retirement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Setting up a retirement age for the working individuals shall vary case by case. Some individuals opine that retirement should be declared for the employees at the age of 65 Years; However, the majority of advocates supports that it should be declared earlier than 65 Years for some working professionals. I strongly opine that the retirement age should be fixed for these type of working professionals earlier than those indulge in normal professions.

A lot of places in the world rely on tourism as a main source of Income. Unfortunately, tourism can be cause of lot of problem if its not well managed . What are the advantage and dis advantage in the modern world? Do you think advantage overweight the disadvantage .

For many developing countries, tourism is considered as high revenue generating sectors. Several countires incomes are highly dependent on tourist . Along with the advantages there are several disadvantges for tourism sector. In my opinion, toursim should always be encouraged by the society and government.

Some people believe that international free-car days are effective ways to reduce air pollution. However, others argue that there are several other ways that are more effective: Discuss both views & give your own opinion.

The environment has always aroused much concern from the public. Some people propose free-car days as a way to minimize air pollution while others believe that there are some more effective solutions. Although I agree that free-car days can bring certain benefits, I am also of the opinion that more sustainable methods should be done to reduce pollution.

some people believe that unpaid community services should be a compulsory part of high school programmes(for example working for a charity, improving the neighbourhood or teaching sports for younger children). To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s future of the Nation. Some people say that involving high school pupils in unpaid community activities like improving the neighbourhood, working for a charity, teaching younger children is necessary. I believe that it will be an advantage for youngsters to participate in such activities. However, there are considerable disadvantages if the school administration forces them to participate as this is part of the high school programme.

In this modern era, cultural values are of utmost importance to preserve the heritage of a society. Many claims that the country in which people are born reflects their civilization. while on the other ,side some suggest that it does not have a major impact on it. In my opinion, there is no doubt that a person's nationality portrays their own tradition. However, various other factors also define a particular way of living such as traditional activities, rituals, communities and surroundings.

Nowadays, online education is trending method of teaching. It is provide by some institutes as an alternative to in-person education. In my opinion, this is beneficial and profitable for everyone.

In some countries it is illegal to refuse people applying for jobs because of their age. Is it a positive or a negative development, in your opinion?

Nowadays, many aged people still work in workplaces. Rejecting them from entering the market owing to their age is illegal in some countries. Recruiting some old people can provide manpower to various industries and share fruitful experiences with colleagues. Therefore, It is a positive development for the authority to protect them from being rejected for applying jobs.

Some people think competitions inside and outside of school is necessary for children to prepare for their future. Others think its bad. Discuss both views and state your opinion.

It is believed by some that competitiveness tested in educational institutions and outside of it is important for children to secure a better future. However, others argue that such an environment is not healthy for infants. While contesting among others can demotivate some children, it is crucial for them to attain confidence which is required for their overall growth.

Transportation plays a vital role in making life comfortable. It is often thought that a large portion of the budget should be allocated to building train systems to connect cities. Although, some might say that it should rather be spent on improvement of the current means of commuting. In this essay, I will be discussing both beliefs, arrive at a conclusion, and give my personal opinion.

These days almost all companies use different types of advertisements to encourage individuals to buy their products and services. It is said that many people purchase products only due to the advertisement without considering their true needs. I completely agree with this opinion as advertisements are more aggressive these days, and companies use celebrities to have more influence on youngsters.

An increasing rate of local crime in many countries became a major dilemma nowadays. These criminal activities are attributed to several reasons which shall be tackled by the governments effectively. In this ,essay we will discuss the causes and solutions to curb this issue promptly.

First and foremost, museums and galleries provide an insight into the history of humankind. It’s a place's history-keeping as well as means of education. Some foundations and art galleries require guests to pay for entrance, while others are free of charge. This essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of charging admission fees for museums and craft arcades and also provides personal opinions.

People have different views about whether students should be allowed to evaluate their teachers. While students’ criticisms may sometimes lead to undesirable consequences, I believe that this practice will improve classroom standard.

It is an irrefutable fact that in a number of countries, with the emergence of supermarkets, the local businesses have had to suffer. Many are of the opinion that this will sound the death knell of many local shops. This essay will highlight why, this chain of thought is entirely true and provide evidence to support it.

It is often believed that a person’s success is measured by wealth and material belongings. In my opinion financial status plays an important role in achievement for the future.. In this essay I am going to discuss the topic and define the key metrics to be successful.

However, others believe that such activity invades an individual’s privacy. In this essay, I would be discussing both views, arrive at a conclusion, and state my personal opinion.

It is true that some countries increase their dependence on fossil fuels, but others choose to use alternative sources of energy instead of the consumption of oil and coal. While I think that the use of renewable sources brings tangible benefits to people, I agree that there are some negative consequences of these kinds of energy.
