The first car appeared on British roads in 1888. By the year 2000 there may be as many as 29 million vehicles on British roads. Alternative forms of transport should be encouraged and international laws introduced to control car ownership and use. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Cars are arguably among the most impactful inventions to date. Since the start of them, the number of cars has increased at an unparalleled pace, resulting in the fact that 29 million vehicles are projected to run around Britain in 2000. It is suggested by many people that the British government should impose regulations in favour of other means of transportation, so that the excessive use of cars can be hampered. From my perspective, I strongly support this measure for many reasons.

Nowadays, advanced technologies have extremely impacted on our lives as they have changed ways of humans' living for more than a decade. Some may say that these tools help us to have an easier lifestyle, while some people think that these have made our lives too complicated. I agree with this statement and will explore about pros and cons of technologies through this essay.

While some believe that ads urge customers to purchase unnecessary goods, others think that these advertisements tell clients about the launch of needed products. Therefore, this essay will discuss both sides of this argument using relative illustrations.

These days, the repeating pattern of new houses with older houses has been argued, because of the concern of homogeneity in urban planning and the beauty of the city. It is undeniable that, these days the usage of technology in the security field has increased dramatically over the past decade. So, some people feel that it is not appropriate to monitor someone’s personal life, whereas the others argue that this necessary for public safety to stop crimes which are performed in crowds. I totally agree with the latter view. It has more pros outweigh cons.

Most of the people state that, it is compulsory to maintain our house and work station clean and arranged, and most importantly, everything should be assembled in the correct place. Nowadays, living in the rural areas is getting as popular as living in the cities, although opinions remain divided when it comes to what is better for children. But whatever the choice is, it is undoubtedly that both choices will offer its specific advantages and disadvantages.

It is widely believed that there is less connection among family members as compared to the past. Contrary to this popular opinion, I believe the families are able to communicate more nowadays as more and more electronic means of contact are being introduced. However, I do think face-to-face meetings between family members, in particular, are considerably reduced relative to the past.

It is widely believed that the reconstruction of the long-standing architecture is pricey, therefore these old buildings should be destroyed and new modernized models should be installed as a replacement. I completely disagree with this statement and this essay will provide my own opinion with the explanations.

In the current scenario, people apparently involve in using immense number of technologies such as, mobile phones, skytrains, the Internet, and the electrical equiment, which considerably improve standard of people's living and make everything convenient. Thus, no doubt, I do agree that better lives of people are caused by the develpment of science.

It is often suggested that the government ought to spend more money on improving railways than building roads instead. In my opinion, I disagree with this suggestion and believe that although railways is useful, it should not be funded by cutting the costs of building roads.

The aerospace technologies are highly developed in major countries such as, America, India, and China, where overall incomes are tremendous. However, there are problems which are needed to be improved using large budget. Hence, I do agree that other financial needs should be addressed instead of this expensive technology.
