The most important aim of science should be to improve people's lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It is argued by some that enhancing the quality of people’s lives should be the main objective of scientists. In my opinion, although it is important to improve human’s life, there are still other aspects of life that equally need to be improved.

It is generally believed by certain people that the rising number of sports facilities may help to improve health for people. In contrast, some do not believe and they are required to other alternative ways to improve health. However, arising seem to loom over these prospects, which will be discussed below, and I will offer my views.

Internet progress in the contemporary universe is caused by individuals doing their jobs, purchases and connections through the Internet (applications such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and eBay), as a result, they do not need to have direct communication with each other. In my point of view, the benefits of this phenomenon outweigh the drawbacks.

It is often argued that a criminal will remain a lawbreaker for the rest of his life. I am inclined to stand with the skeptics. From my perspective, it is a very controversial issue that deserves an in-depth discussion.

Dangerous sports such as skydiving cause a lot of deaths and injuries every year. Therefore, people believe that those activities should be restricted by governments. However, I believe that people should take responsibility for their own actions and have the freedom to make their own choices.

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age.Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. Disciplining a child at a very young age will have a significant impact on their personality development, so it is important to teach the contrast between good and bad in early childhood. In order to inculcate this punishment is mandatory for them to learn the difference. This essay will discuss what role punishment plays in teaching moral values and the type of punishment that can be given to the kids.

Considering the exponentially growing human trafficking crime, it is being considered by many countries impose night curfews upon teenagers. This curfew states that no teenager is allowed outdoors at night without any adult acquaintance. In my opinion, this movement will be a popular choice to decrease such crimes. Human trafficking has become a profitable business in many third-worldworld countries as well. Specifically, Women and children are the prey of such crimes.

The prompt illustrates a contentious view, where some people believe that education should be provided in a very early phase of childhood, while others hold the belief of starting primary schools following a certain age restriction. In my opinion, the latter one is a positive development for two reasons. However, there is one drawback that will be discussed.

What, in your opinion, should be the main function of a university?

It is thought by some people that upcoming graduate students should be trained by the university for workspace only. Opponents advocate that University is only reprehensible for sharing knowledge as a whole. In my opinion, universities should strike a balance between job-related skills and traditional subjects which are mainly responsible for sharing knowledge. I believe that a balanced approach is crucial for our young graduates' holistic development.

Opinion is largely divided when it comes to the problems of aging. While some believe that growing old is definitely negative, I side with those who contend that in comparison with previous generations the quality of life for seniors has improved considerably.

There is an increasingly popular idea that the best way to a successful career is studying at a university or college. While others think that getting a job straight after school is more effective. Both opinions may have benefits and drawbacks from this trend, from my point of view, I think that getting a job right after graduation is more useful.

In such an information-boomed era, few individuals believe that reading newspapers and watching news shows is a waste of time and also think that national reporting channels have nothing to do with people’s lives. Personally, I partly agree with this viewpoint for the following reasons.

Some would say that parents should teach their offspring how to be good members of society, while others are of the opinion that school is the best in this regard. This essay agrees with the latter point and will show that, despite the practical experiences that parents give their children, school lessons can give deep insights into what it takes to be good citizens.

According to the prompt, recently business companies tend to advertise more and more heterogenous products which set them apart from their counterparts. In my opinion, this is mostly a positive development for two reasons. However, there is one drawback that will be discussed.

Many people accept that art provides motivation and encourages people to do something meaningful in life whereas others argue that it hinders individuals from the reality of life. In the near future, Instant foods will be consumed more than authentic food and ways of preparing it. This might be because inactive lifestyle of people. Although I agree with this view to some extent , However, few communities still consider preparing and consuming traditional food due to their cultural restrictions.

Nowadays, many people believe that it is better to choose your job as early as possible and remain in the same field forever in order to become successful. In my viewpoint, however it is good to know your purpose early in life, but this doesn't guarantee your success. I will explain my reasons with relevant examples in the following paragraph.

Many people believe that our local culture is highly impacted due to foreign exposure ,particularly in terms of media such as movies, TV channels , and newspapers. Although, it has certain disadvantages such as it could make people lower their cultural values by promoting international customs, I believe that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. This essay will discuss my opinion in detail with supporting evidence.
