In the contemporary epoch, people's tendencies to travel and immigrate have greatly increased. Due to these tendencies the urge of learning foreign languages has correspondingly grown. A high proportion of individuals reckon that it leads to severe social and practical complications. According to my perception, while it may cause such issues, it is an outstanding opportunity to encounter various traditions and fully master a new tongue. The impending discourse will elucidate the aforementioned topic and substantiate my stance in the subsequent paragraphs.
Some people believe that in today’s modern times, with increased access to various forms of entertainment, it is no longer necessary for parents to spend time reading to children or telling them stories. While it may be true that children today have access to more stimulation than ever before, I fear this argument overlooks the many other benefits of story time to both the children and parents.

Childhood obesity has become a worrying health concern today. Some people believe that parents of obese children should be held accountable for this development. I strongly disagree with this view because caregivers can not always monitor their wards’ diet and some children are genetically predisposed to becoming fat. Firstly, parents are unavailable most of the time to control the caloric intake of their children. This is because these young people spend a significant amount of their time in school and with friends. For instance, a study conducted in Ghanaian primary schools showed that more than 75% of daily caloric requirements are during school hours.
