Nowadays doctors can become very rich. Maybe they should not focus on profitable activities such as plastic surgery or looking after rich patients and concentrate more on patient's health, no matter how rich they are. Do you agree or disagree?

I worked for Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk as an Internal Auditor after graduation. Many aspects in manufacturing business cycles have been audited, such as finance, compliance and process. This job has sharpened my analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data processing skills since I have to ensure if there is still room for improvement. One of my biggest contributions to the company was when I saw a significant rise in the overtime pay in the financial statement. Then, I observed and found that the amount calculated by payroll officers was bigger compared to the government regulation in Indonesia. As a result, the company’s growth shown in the financial statement looked smaller than it should be. After that, I decided to give a comprehensive recommendation so that efficiency can be achieved, and profits in the financial statement reflect the actual situation.

Something that is more important for children to engage in outdoor activities instead of playing video games. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

At present, children love to play with novel electronic gadgets such as computers, mobile phones, and portable gaming devices. However, especially adults believe that instead of clinging to such equipment it is better to engage in outdoor activities for youngsters. I agree with this statement and this essay will analyze this issue using examples from our society to demonstrate points and support arguments.

It is true that some food and drink which contain a lot of sugar or fat may be harmful to humans. While some people believe that shops should be district to sell that food to lead a healthy life, I completely disagree with this view.

Today, community activities are not that strange for us in our modern society. The action not only shows compassion, but also shows each individual's understanding and sympathy for those facing more difficult circumstances. For me, unpaid services should be a mandatory part of the curriculum.

In the business industry, advertisement has been used as the main organ for businesses to survive. Some people say that it is huge businesses success for persuading consumers, whilst others disagree and think it makes no difference which they usually ignore. In my opinion, I believe that having advertisement is essential for the field, while it should advertise only the best feature that incorporated with a call to action.

Almost all parents who have teenagers complain that their children have become unruly and disruptive. Likewise, their children too complain that their parents do not care for their feelings. This has become a commonplace occurrence in society. In my view, these conflict between teenagers and their parents is a normal part of life, and elders should tactfully guide their wards out of these conflicts.

There are various opportunities for the students to improve their living allowance such as working part-time. Sometimes, they take the job at the same time as their academic period. This decision, however, mostly leads to less allocation of time for studying and to more mental pressure. This essay will explain why the students could be ended up in that position and the solutions to overcome the problem.

A majority of governments believes that economic growth is a mandatory target, however the public think other improvements are equally important for a nation. It is often said that traditional concepts on how people should act and think have deeply rooted in older people's minds and that these are obsolete and totally mismatch to the needs of younger people. In my opinion, I have an opposite view of such an argument because it is overgeneralized and believe that some ideas are quite valuable and helpful for everyone.

A part of society believes that adapting to bad situations such as money or unsatisfactory jobs, would be the best result while another group of community argues that improving such situations are the best. Let's discuss further on this topic and I will exhibit reasons and examples.

Many people work hard, but only a few succeed. We see this especially in professions that are always in limelight, for example, in sports, movies, music, arts and theatre. So many athletes struggle on the field, but only a few gain glory. Also, certain oriental cultures adopt a fatalistic thought process. Based on this, few people believe that indeed getting success depends on luck. But, I strongly disagree with this sentiment and firmly believe that success depends on hard work and perseverance.

It is widely thought by some that the practices of massive international companies could support the economies of the emerging nations, whereas some could be considered as threats for taking advantage of those countries. In my opinion, I believe that foreign corporations are essential for developing countries in term of opportunities and employment, while there are drawbacks to the environment and local businesses.

A common belief of owning a home is developed in many countries of the world and the idea of living in rented accommodation is frowned upon by many people in such nations. I think wastage of money behind paying the amount of rent could be the reason why such is the scenario in some places and I believe it is a positive attitude.

Thanks to globalization, an international network is possible. People from across the globe are able to contact each other in a matter of minutes. Thus, the key foundation of a successful communication process is languages, over thousands of them being spoken across the globe. As the matter of fact, it can be challenging without mutual language. There is an argument whether the development of the same global language has a positive or negative impact which will be discussed in the following essay.

As my current work is focusing on improvement in the company that has already been running for years, for my future master’s lesson, I intend to focus studying on how to help Start-up companies or Small and Medium Enterprises that have just run their businesses either with their owned capital or with investment from foreign countries, allocate their capital effectively and efficiently. I am inspired by people around me who have just built their businesses, but have to close their business due to financial problems, especially in this pandemic. Therefore, I need to improve my knowledge in finance. At the same time, I would like to take part in realizing one of the sustainable development goals of the United Nations about decent work and economic growth that aimed to encourage the formalization and growth of Small and Medium Enterprises, including through access to financial services. I would like to start from my motherland, Indonesia.
