While some individuals claim that racism is largely a thing of the past and now only appears as harmless jokes, others argue that it remains a serious problem that must be eradicated. This essay will examine both perspectives before explaining why I firmly believe that racism continues to be a grave concern requiring ongoing efforts for elimination.
