IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 7.5
It is thought that the best way to stop traffic and pollution problems is to increase the cost of transport fuel. I completely disagree with this statement. Making petrol more expensive does not guarantee that people will stop using their cars. In my opinion, it is much better to make public transportation more available.
It is said that the curriculum of school should be designed based on student needs. Therefore, students do not feel frustrated in doing learning process. I personally agree to some extent towards the statement, which I will elaborate more on below.
Curbing crime growth is an issue of broad interest to the general public. With a conflicting view on how to rehabilitate criminals effectively and efficiently, some people argue that it is better to keep them in jail as long as possible, while others believe that we can also apply more options to reform those who violate the law, which may receive a better result than employing a longer prison term. From my perspective, we should not take prison sentences as the only means of cutting crime.
In a bid to search for aliens living on the outside of the earth, some superpowers spend vast amounts of public funds on looking for creatures on other plants, imagining that they can gain benefits from them. Even were it true, we still may face potential risks brought by extraterrestrial civilizations. Therefore, I am in favour of the opinion that we should give top priority to addressing difficulties and challenges at hand, rather than something that seems impossible in the near future.
Self-driving vehicles are one of the inventions that can change our lives forever. It is predicted that they will be the main type of transportation in the future. In my opinion, I believe that the benefits they bring us are more than the drawbacks.

Debate that how children should learn or live is increasing every day.Some folks of society suggest that toddlers should be taken into control by their mothers and fathers,however, others think that they should learn by themselves.I agree with the second statement.This essay will discuss both viewpoints in the upcoming paragraphs.
