Nowadays, news companies spend a lot of money covering international news. However, local news is more relevant to people’s lives and should receive more funding. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

As time has passed, it is easily observed that international news is more focused on by the public rather than local news that seems to directly affect citizens' lives. Thus, it is arguable that more money should be invested in the local news than it currently is. However, I completely disagree with this statement.

Some people believe that visitors to other countries should follow local customs and behaviour. Others disagree and think that the host country should welcome cultural differences. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There are different opinions on whether visitors should comply with local traditions, or the locals should accept foreign lifestyles. In my opinion, the host nation should welcome new patterns of belief and culture.

Some parents believe that a child should not waste time by reading ‎entertainment books. Instead, they should spend time reading educational ‎books only. What is your opinion about this?‎

In this contemporary epoch, whilst some parents believe that leisure books are a miss of time, others hold the view that they have a paramount positive effect on children. thus, I am a staunch believer that non-educational books have a positive role in nurturing offspring, as they improve their psychological health, and they can help to acquire knowledge. In this essay, my contention will be further explained.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better for children to choose jobs that are similar to their parents’ jobs than to choose jobs that are very different from their parents’ jobs. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Some people say that children should pursue their own path and shouldn't choose a job similar to their parents. I don't agree with this statement. From my perspective, there are many benefits to choosing a career similar to your parents' career. I feel this way for two reasons that I will explain in detail below.

Some people think that having a set retirement age (e.g. 65 years) for everybody, regardless of occupation, is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive a pension at an earlier age. Do you agree or disagree? Which types of workers do you think should benefit from early retirement?

Each occupation has a specific age limit to work there. It has been argued by a few that setting the retirement age to 65 without evaluating the profession type is unbiased; however, they support specific workers who should entitle to early retirement and pension. I completely disagree with the above notion, but there are a few types of workers who should be benefited from early-life retirement.

Some people argue that globalisation has been a great benefit to people around the world, while others believe that it is the cause of many of the problems we see today. During the last decades, the phenomenon called globalisation influenced our society's development . Some people think that this phenomenon has brought several benefits to many individuals, whilst others argue that it is the origin of many problems we have to face today. I strongly agree with the former opinion. In this essay I will discuss both views and I will also provide some examples.

It is widely acknowledged that with the development of technology and science, the government is carrying out a lot of changes in the educational field day by day. More and more people claim that children obtain a lot of knowledge in school and others prefer to study in online schooling . I strongly argue the latter view and I will support this view with arguments in the following paragraphs.

In recent years, technology invaded the modern lifestyle and it is an immense necessity that people use this to their advantage. Research of all sorts is required in order to evolve our society's needs, and many are in favour of providing scientists with funds and resources. At the same time though, the opponents argue that it is not only a waste of time, but also a waste of money. Personally, I support the former, with the latter having some serious counterarguments one should absolutely take into account.

It’s undeniable that smoking is detrimental to our health. It is argued that the government should be involved in taking measures against the consumption of cigarettes and other tobacco products. I do agree with this view to a certain extent. Rules and regulations should be set to control the consumers’ behaviours. Even though it cannot be banned totally, the government plays a major role to improve public health in this aspect.

Nowadays, people tend to spend their free time reading the books or doing some sport. There is widespread opinion that active pastime has more beneficial affect on ones developent rather than readings. Both of the belives have its own arguments, and in this essay I will outline both of them.

The fast pace of life and increasing competition amongst not only adults but also young ones, has resulted in educational, social, and commercial stress on children. This essay will talk about what causes them and what can be done to stop them.

Nowadays, more and more women are working in plants, firms and industrial sites where only men are used to be employed. Women are now more ambiguous and competing with men. This essay will explore reasons why women are taking places occupied by men and at the end of the essay will underline my opinion.

The last several decades have seen enormous changes in the way people's work is affected by new technological inventions, with many advances in this field. However, while this technological development has a damaging impact on many, I strongly believe that these growths in IT will result in more positive impacts than negative ones.

In today's era, young people prefer watching TV as they think it is an easy way to learn. Students must adopt this method of learning in school as well as at home. I strongly disagree with this statement and I will explain my point of view in this essay along with some strong examples.

Even though many countries rely on the travel industry, because it contributes hugely to their economy, the gigantic number of visitors can also cause some big issues. This essay will demonstrate how the financial state can be positively affected by tourists ,but it will also show how it could lead to problems caused by the arrived society. While accepting that there are drawbacks, the essay will argue that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Leisure time is known as the time left over from doing daily errands like homework and washing the dishes. Some people use that leftover time to improve their minds like studying a new language while some use it to take their mind off work like listening to music. I am going to discuss both sides of the fence and give my opinion on this situation.

At present, deaths due to road accidents claim a significant portion of accidental deaths and have become very common in society. Hence there is an argument to implement repetitive driving tests expecting to minimize to mitigate the risk. Since there are advantages and disadvantages to the matter, I believe it is always advantageous while adopt a few changes than not entirely doing it.

Residing in a place where you have to communicate in a language which is not native to you can create problems socially as well as practically.I partially agree with this statement because every individual's accent resembles their culture, tradition and identity. However, communicating in a foreign speech makes you feel comfortable and can easily mingle with a native congregation.I will cite my notion about opinion in this essay.

The high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising but not the real need of the society where such products are sold. Do you agree or disagree?

Advertising is well-known as a method of promotion. It is a method used by corporations to introduce their product and services to the market, attract the eye of customers to increase sales.Critics of advertisement argue that this method is only to increase sales by inducing consumers to buy things that they do not need in their daily lives. In my personal perspective, this contention is self-evident. In further paragraphs, I shall explain this statement in detail.
