In some countries, there has been an increase in the number of parents who educate their children themselves at home instead of sending them to school. Do you think the advantages of this overweigh the disadvantages?

In recent times, providing proper education to children has become a major concern for many parents. A number of parents consider home-based education for their child as a better option than schooling. In my opinion, ensuring education to the children in the home itself by parents has indeed benefits. However, letting these children without exploring the various facilities which would always be provided by the schools and institutes cannot be considered as a beneficial one. This essay will address why the drawbacks of home education outweigh the benefits and will provide an abundance of examples to support this position.

Some people think students should study the science of food and how to prepare it. Others think that school time should be used in learning important subjects. Discuss both views and give your opinion? Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

It is considered by some people that students ought to know about the system of food and its preparation from school, while there are others who think school period should be used for studying the important topic. In my opinion, I absolutely agree that students should learn more important subjects like science and technology.

People think that government should increase the cost of fuel for cars and other vehicles to solve environmental problems. Give your opinion.

It is widely believed that the environmental issues must have been solved if the price of crude oil for motor vehicles is raised by the government. From my perspective, this might be an effective measure, but I would argue that other measures might have an even greater impact especially transport policies.

Some people think that parents have the greatest influence on their child’s academic development rather than the teacher. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

There is some dispute about whether the people having a more significant impact on children’s academic progress are their parents or teachers. This is a complex issue, and my belief is that the impacts of parents and teachers on children’s educational development are of equal importance.

Some people believe that parents have a great influence on the children’s growth but influence from the outside plays a more important role. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people hold the view that children's development, physically and mentally, is influenced mostly by their parents. Meanwhile, others hold a belief that influences from outside factors contribute to a greater extent. Judging on a detailed analysis of both sides, I think each side is extremely significant in the process of a child’s growth.

It is natural process of animal species to become extinct (e.g. dinosaurs, dodos, etc.). There is no reason why people should stop this from happening. Do you agree or disagree?

In the human world, it is an unavoidable consequence of the extinction of species. Some people argue that humans should not put an act of preventing this. From my perspective, even though the process of extinction is inevitable, humans should leap action because the significance of animals widely attributes to many aspects.

Scientists and technology experts seem to be more valued by modern society than musicians and artists. To what extent do you agree?

Over the past few years, debates have been raised over whether the public has shifted attention to scientists and experts than people working in the artistic fields. Even though there are certain judgments between people, I am deeply convicted that each aspect plays a different role in society and these two should not be put on any pedestals.

All the people in a company should be treated equally and provided with the same number of holidays in a year or people doing different jobs enjoy different amounts of holiday time. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Every company has its own employment perks some are equal for all levels of employees but some are according to their skillset or experience. The given notion suggests that everyone has the right to enjoy similar benefits during their employment including equal vacation time or at least team members from different departments must be offered an equal level of time off. However, I believe employers should treat their workers equally, I agree that it could make companies suffer from a loss of profit.

In the near future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying to what extent do yo agree or disagree with this statement.

It is predicted that people would be more interested in reading the contents online, which are considered to be cheaper, and nobody would buy a newspaper or a book to read in the future. I completely agree with the statement given because online materials are easily accessible and are cheaper.

The exploration and development of safe alternatives to fossil fuels should be the most important global priority today. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, the planet is suffering from different environmental issues as the consumption of fossil fuels increased dramatically. Thus, it is widely argued that global priority should be focused on inventing a safe fuel. I definitely agree with this issue.

The government should lower the budget on the arts to allocate more money to education. To what extent do you agree?

The amount of money that government allocates to each organ has always been an issue. Education, on the other hand, is another challenging topic that cannot be subsided easily and requires a great foundation. This statement claims that the art budget should be reduced and must be added to education. To express my opinion, I have to say I disagree strongly.

Some people think the newly built houses should be the same as the old house style in local areas. Others argue that local authorities should allow people to build houses in their own styles. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Over decades, there has been a significant change in people’s attitudes towards the way houses are built. While there are some people who lean towards houses following the similar traditional style of their neighbourhoods, others still hold the view that people should be free to create their own houses. From my perspective, I support the latter idea and I will discuss it in more detail.

Using a computer every day can have more negative than positive effects on your children. Do you agree or disagree?

These days, the computer is one of the most essential factors associated with humans' live. Some people think using a computer every day have disadvantages rather than advantages to affect their kids. In my opinion, I agree with this statement because it can lead children to be unsociable people, and it is a cause of your health problems.

Damage to environment is an inevitable consequence of the improvement in the standard of living. To what degree do you agree or disagree to this position?

People in every country are willing to have a higher standard of living under the Internet age, especially in these recent years that ordinary people are audiences of KOLs who like sharing their life on social media. Moreover, it is well agreed the need for improvement can cause damage to the environment surrounding us.

Sports which are violent, such as boxing and wrestling have no place in a civilised society and should be banned. Do you agree or disagree ?

Sports are a great means of portraying one's expertise despite it being violent or gentle. Games such as boxing and wrestling brings out the true potential in a person. It has given us many famous and strong personalities who have created history like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and many others. Hence, I completely disagree with the statement that boxing should be banned in a civilised society. I will explain my reasoning in this essay.

It is considered that a foreign population living in a country that needs to communicate with a non-native language will bring many issues. I agree that people living in an alien land have to face some social and practical troubles to a certain extent.

Societies have been arguing the benefits and damages of social media platforms for a long time. Although some believe that these platforms have numerous utilities, others believe that the platforms have potential negative impacts to damage social life.

Most adolescents in developing and developed countries attend high school education. Some argue that they should contribute to society by spending their leisure doing a community work and not getting any payment for this. To some extent, I disagree with this opinion.

In many parts of the world, people now often throw things away when they are broken and buy new ones, whereas in the past broken things were repaired and used again. Why do you think this is the case? What problems may it lead to?

Different people have different approaches to life. Across the globe, folks are now discarding things repeatedly when they are damaged, hence, prefer to replace instead of repair as compared to the previous era. There are ample reasons responsible for this attitude, in this essay I will be discussing a few of them along with the issues it can give rise to.

Some people think that when a person travels into a different culture they should adapt to the local practices and customs. To what extent do you agree?

Globalisation is a phenomenon of people travelling between different countries and cultures to live their lives. Many people believe that an individual should adapt to the destination country's cultures and traditions when they visit another country. I strongly agree with this notion as it helps them to accustom and lead life smoothly without any behavioural differences. In this essay, I will provide reasons to support my opinion with relevant examples.
