Prison is the common way in most countries to solve the problem of crime. However, a more effective solution is to provide people a better education. Do you agree or disagree?

Imprisonment is the most common way to handle criminal individuals in most countries. While incarcerating people to punish crime helps set an example and keeps the world safer for the majority, it is actually not a real solution to the crime problem. A better way would be to eliminate the reasons that cause criminal activities.

'Playing computer games is a waste of time. Children should not be allowed to play them.' To what extent to you agree or disagree with the statement?

In the past decade, computer games have become the favourite leisure activity among children and teenagers. It of course leads to a lot of consequences for children's development and growth, and plays a huge role in their value set forming and their future goals. Personally, I think that Computed hames have to be forbidden for children younger than 14 years old. In the following ,paragraphs I'm going to argue my opinion from 2 points of view: mental health and character forming.

People living in this digital era are provided access to the majority of the world’s knowledge at their fingertips thanks to the internet. Children's behaviours and their ways of handling various situations have been always a matter to discuss and study. Adults and guardians have contradicted points of view when children's good behaviours are concerned. Some people assume that parents are responsible for teaching their children how to behave, be polite and respectful. Others, however, think that this is the role of school and children should learn these principles in schools. Accordingly, the current essay aims to discuss both views and then I will suggest my personal view.

The latter tend to spend a lot of time browsing on their smartphones. There are both positive and negative impacts of this change in our society. I firmly believe that the negative effects outweigh heavily the positive impacts on an overall.

Every public sector believes that it deserves funding from the government, and the arts are no different. However, some people argue that the arts should receive less, or no, funding as they do not serve a sufficient purpose. I disagree that the authority spends too much on investing in the arts, as I believe that art holds a high value in our lives, and I will explain why in the following essay.

In today's modern world, it has been always debated that education in the universities must be subsidised by the government, as at times it becomes next to impossible for the poor community to afford this level of expensive education for their children. On the same note, I strongly believe that fee should be free or even funded to the maximum, in order to guarantee fair competition.

Public construction is the key economic engine for most countries in the world, whether it involves building roads or erecting skyscrapers. Construction needs labour, and developing a new bulletin railway can stimulate production and consumption. However, there is a debate about whether it is most necessary to spend money on developing new transport systems like high-speed railways to link cities or on maintaining old public road networks to save money. To discuss this topic, we need multiple perspectives and consider different circumstances.

Instead of learning indigenous speech, learning a foreign language, especially English is commonly seen as more crucial at school if not, it will put the student at a strain risk. It is true that mastering the English language is very important. However, in my opinion, the resident should preserve their local language and make sure it can’t be replaced by any foreign mother tongue.
