In many countries, very few young people read newspapers or follow the news on TV. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Current affairs are the essence of national issues and the problems any country is facing at the moment. To keep a check on them, is the responsibility of every individual. Keeping an eye on newspapers and popular talk shows is the best way to do this. However, in recent times, adolescents are showing the least interest in such programmes. This, in my opinion, is not a very good trend and this habit is going to drift them apart from their responsibilities towards the country. There are various reasons for it and I would like to shed light on some important points below.

Money is one of the necessities of life, today. Without that, striving is almost impossible in the contemporary world. However, wasting it on things just for aesthetic purposes is wrong in my opinion. This is high time when we should learn its importance and its correct usage as the world needs it the most today.

Some people think Group studying at school has more benefits than learning at home by computer. I totally agree that students need to study with others rather than learning lonely at home.

Many believe that criminal education during the prison period is the most effective method to prevent crimes. I utterly disagree with this statement compared to other alternatives which are early-year education for all residents and stricter punishments for offenders.

It is true that overweight people are more regularly seen everywhere, others said that it is better to raise the price of fattening foods, which could help to overcome this issue. However, I disagree with the hike in the price of those food products .

Some experts hold the view that each and every person should have a vehicle for trips, a television for entertainment and also a refrigerator for food storage. From my point of view, this development has more positive effects compared to negative ones.

With increased access to all kinds of media, teenagers are really getting aggressive and violent with the passage of time. Though it can be partially attributed to the hormonal imbalance that is specific for this age, it is mainly because of the increased inclination of the media towards aggression and violence. I highly agree with the opinion that the media is responsible for this current issue.

Economic growth demonstrates the advancement of any country. I agree with this notion and am going to discuss both aspects.
