Climate change has been the topic of debate for the last decade, and with time people from all professional backgrounds are starting to weigh into this hot subject. While many hold the view that initiatives to curb global warming could result in a decline of certain businesses, others believe that this will open a pocket of new opportunities, and could lead to a profit surge for the companies instead. I believe that the reforms will not cause most businesses to decline and will rather provide them with the opportunities to extend their businesses.

Playing video games of various genre is becoming increasingly popular among individuals of all ages. One widely held view by parents consider such play as intellectually lazy and maintains that e-games instil aggression, isolation and depression among the people. Contrary to this view, I strongly think that computer games strengthen cognitive skills in the player just as well as academic courses.

There is an inclination of students towards university courses, with a future perspective of grabbing a good pay job upon graduation. In reality, many fresh graduates fail to find the type of work they are looking for and some may even take up jobs not relevant to their field. This is due to lack of real-life job experiences and competitive job market conditions, because of which many university graduates find themselves drifting from their desired career path. In my opinion, the root of this problem lies in the impractical higher education coursework which needs to be modernized.

People are divided on the topic of taxes on cigarettes and smoking rules in public places. Some are of the opinion that high taxes on cigarettes and creating designated smoking zones are much-needed steps to look after public well-being. On the other hand, some people think that these measures are regressive and restricting citizens' freedom of expression. I believe, high taxes and laws in place to reduce public smoking are necessary and the right steps.

The holiday is required for any employee to do better at their workplace, it not only enhance their efficiency but also it also motivate them to do good at their offices. Thus, I completely agree that a long break will help the workforce to do better in their jobs.

A fewer section of individuals on the other hand advocates that these details are appropriate and useful. In my opinion, I believe these details are required to isolate the perfect fit for the job and to assess his or her behaviour and mental stability.

There are only few people who can explain the definition of traditional or religious festivals while many people only desire to have pleasure by having participation in festivals. There is apparent controversy on the economic development, while many believe that in order to overcome poverty and hunger, progress in the economy is needed; others affirm that the damages that economic growth inflicts into the environment cannot be compensated and the economic growth should be withheld as soon as possible. Although both sides have a rationale for their suggestions, I personally believe that environmental friendly economy would be the solution.

In many parts of the United States, teenagers cannot go outdoors without adult supervision during the late hours of the night due to the imposition of a ‘curfew’. In my opinion, this step robs them of their basic human right to move about freely and could even affect their confidence levels in adulthood.

Whilst numerous individuals reckon that asking for the advice from parents should be mandatory for all the children, others hold that it's unnecessary. I believe that, although asking for advice from parents is crucial at some point in time, it's not required always. Both views will be discussed further in the following paragraphs.

Technology is being improved tremendously in the past and at present. There is currently a contentious argument over whether the past developments in technology is more advantageous to the public than the present developments. I totally disagree with this notion because at present the developments are made to be used and afforded by the people and to protect the environment.

It is true that old buildings have a historical value. However, some of them need to be repaired and, usually, a lot of money is spent on repairing such buildings. In my opinion, the best option is to build new constructions from the beginning, even if it is necessary to knock old buildings down. This essay will present arguments to support my thought.

Numerous characters deem our conventional school program will alter, and students will not be attending in their classroom; in contrast, certain groups of people oppose and affirm pupils will be studying school. Besides this, the old educational program will be lasting as usual. I reckon the current model will surely change by 2050s.
