The prevention of health problems and illness is more important than treatment and medicine. Government funding should reflect this. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The discussion about whether or not the state should invest more in prevention rather than treatment of diseases is very controversial. There are people on both sides of the statement who have very strong  views. Personally, I think that prevention should be made a priority when it comes to health care.

Instead of training a few athletes to win medals at the Olympics, governments should spend the money on programmes encouraging the public to be active and stay healthy. While some people believe that the authorities ought to allocate their funds to encourage society to adopt a healthy lifestyle, others in favour of spending the fund on a few numbers of athletes to win prizes at the Olympics. In my opinion, I am an ardent supporter of spending money on the public to maximize the number of beneficiaries.

It is true that these days social media are widely used by persons of all age groups. While there are numerous benefits of using social media platforms, sharing some private information on these platforms have hazardous effects also. Yes, I believe that the disadvantages of social media are outweighed by its advantages. Let us discuss its merits and demerits in the subsequent paragraphs.

Nowadays parents spend less time with their children due to the modern lifestyle. Some people claim this has resulted in detrimental effects on children. However, parents had sufficient time to spend with their children in the past. I partly agree, but I still believe that this situation does not have unpleasant consequences in kids-growing processes.

In the modern world, although there are individuals, who are willing to plant trees in open spaces in the city, others feel that construction should be done in such kind of places. In this regard, I believe that the authorities of the town should find a balance between modernization of the city and environment.

Nowadays, almost everyone has its own computer or laptop. These devices enable people to work from their houses with no need for physical attend to the work place. Indeed, working online from an once's site has advantages as well as disadvantages. In my opinion, I believe that working at home has bad influences on people. Working online can make a worker feel depressed. In addition, people cannot isolate themselves from destruction at home.

There are an increasing number of advertisements that target children. Many parents are worried that these advertisements may be harmful to their children. However, some companies claim that their advertising provides children with useful information. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is irrefutable that rapidly growing advertisements have been focusing on children, therefore, myriad parent is concerned that these promotions can have a negative impact to their children, whereas, some organizations proclaim that they provide essential information to them. In my opinion, I do believe with this notion because various products are available in the market that are causing dreadful health issues and some of them are purely safe to use.

It has been noticed that roads accidents, across the globe, has increased in vast numbers. Some people are of the opinion that there must be recurring driving test of the drivers in order to keep a check on road accidents. However, I completely disagree with this statement and believe that infrastructure should be improved and people should follow transport rules to control these accidents.

It is considered that some state has a view that children by the age of 18 are capable to drive a car, vote or get married life and so on. This essay will disagree with this unfortunate trend because they are not matured mentally and physically to take the onus on all these sorts of things.

It is generally believed by geriatrics that, the life in the past was much better than the present contemporary era.
