The reason behind the rising popularity of the crime novels and 111 dramas, lies with the fact that the realm transmitted in the show/book, is our own. I am from Rio de Janeiro, a beautiful place with horrible people, and we know that what soap operas show, is not our reality. Laws under British and Australian judiciarysystemsstatethat the past criminal records of a defender should not be revealed to the jury of a present case. The argument to justify this law is that it protects the person accused from any biased opinion.However, I disagree with this as I believeit is equally important to consider the accused person ́s past records to evaluate his or her current offense, as I will outline below.Firstly, consider a situation where the accusedis repeating the same crime for which he has been convicted earlier and the current jury doesn't know about theirpast-they would again sentence him or her the same punishment,which they already received,and itmay well notmake them a better person.

Nowadays, with the climate change and its consequences, people tend to think of finding other planets to live rather than the Earth; thus, more money should be spent on astronaut field as they think. However, in my opinion, I disagree with this point of view for several reasons.

It is agrue that whether women should participate in military like men or not. While some people think women should be given chance to choose military as a career , i think some disadvantages of joining military of women is quite significant. Education has been of top priority in society at all times, which leads to a contention that the tuition for learners from elementary school to university and college should be abolished. Education is the foundation of ethic culture and also the top national policy that most countries prioritize in. It not only plays an influence not only over the formation of human personality and moral qualities but it is also the main source of human resources training from which people acquire academic knowledge and essential life skills such as cooking, dressing... Although both of them are considered to be equally vital, there is are many opposite opinions that it is much more important to focus on teaching students academic knowledge rather than life skills so that they can pass the exams.
