Some people say that tourism has many negative effects on the countries that people travel to. How true is this statement? What can tourists do to reduce the harmful effects of tourism on local cultures and environments.

In the resent day, many countries rely on tourism to ameliorate economy as Thailand, Singapore,... Although the growth of quality of traveller can bring a lot of benefits to countries, it also has a negative effect on The environment. I am personally convinced that holidaymakers still do many things to reduce their impact on nature and culture.

More and more people are visiting tough places like Antarctic and Sahara desert, these days. Though it was almost impossible to think of touring places like them just a couple of decades back, it has become some of the desirable places to travel to adventurous travellers. It has become practical now due to the immense development of technologies of touring and travelling industries. With the help of close to perfect weather forecasting, tourist can now easily measure the riskiest time in terms of extreme weather conditions. Consequently, they can take proper safeguarding instruments what they might need to protect themselves and can decide to postpone their trip for a day or two depending on the current weather conditions. Nowadays, our society has changed significantly.There are a huge number of people who are in need.Most people think that free social service such as helping the charity,developing the countryside and teaching sports should be included in high school courses.Personally,I strongly disagree that unpaid community service will take part in compulsory subjects.

It is undeniable that in order to meet the high demands, high school should provide education beyond academic knowledge, promoting students' life adaptability through soft skills developing also. There are those who believe that to solve this issue volunteering activities among students should be a mandatory addition to the high school program. I strongly agree that this practice contributes not only to the development of the psychological and emotional resilience of youngsters but also to the expansion of their future career opportunities.
