In today’s materialistic world, people are becoming more interested in clothing brands, exotic foods and other commodities unlike they were in the past. Therefore, in order to attract people’s attention to their products, companies are competitively providing sponsorship to famous athletes and sport teams. Some people argue that it is a good trend for both businesses and sportsperson while others are still skeptical with this notion. Personally, I believe that the advantages of sponsorship for sport event outweigh its disadvantages.
