Nowadays many jobs are more stressful and the working day is longer. What are the reasons for this? What can employers do to help employees? Expectations on workers have changed greatly over the last few decades.

Today they often have to work longer hours in situations which are increasingly emotionally and physically confronting. This essay will outline why this is and suggest how employers can assist those who work for them to deal with these challenges. There are many reasons for this increased stress at work. One is the competitive nature of many workplaces. With an emphasis on productivity and shareholders’ returns, employers often require more of their staff than is reasonable or even humanly possible. McDonalds is one example of this where staff are forced to work long hours just to make a living wage in order to satisfy the demands of customers and the bosses they work for. Another stress employees experience is driven by the company policy of hiring inexperienced staff who are cheaper, and letting go of those who have been in the company for longer. Schools have been known to follow this practice because experienced teachers are much more expensive to employ than newly trained ones....

Large business conglamerates are run and lead by the high level execustives. According to some people, these executives are worth the amount of equity that they charge for their services, while others argue that their talents are overexaggerated and their salaries should be in the relative range of their colleagues. It is my firm belief that each side has its own merits , however some top ranked CEOs are indeed deserve their bulky pay-check.

On the British road, the first car was seen in the year 1888. Then, the car numbers increased year after year till 2000, it reached 29 million vehicles. Some people and I think that other ways for transportation should be replaced it and there should be an international law for controlling buying cars and using them. This essay explores the alternative ways of transport and how ownership of a car can controlled by global laws. Personally, I completely agree with this notion as I will explain below.
