The first car appeared on British roads in 1888. By the year 2000 there may be as many as 29 million vehicles on British roads. Alternative forms of transport should be encouraged and international laws introduced to control car ownership and use. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this day and age, the number of cars in the traffic system has been increasingly exorbitant and the issue in Britain mentioned is a clear indication. This trend has raised a belief that novel means of transport should come into being and globally-scaled regulations to put car ownership and use under control should be applied. From my perspective, I completely side with the argument and here are the reasons.

Extra-curricular activity is a need in today's education system. Some say that kids should learn one of the musical instruments in their career. While music is a good choice, In my opinion, parents should give kids an option to explore different activities and pursue the ones kids are more interested in. In the forthcoming paragraphs, I will discuss why to an extent I disagree with the given statement.

Some people believe that countries should be dependent and stop importing. Therefore, supermarkets will sell only locally produced food. Although this concept is based on achieving countries’ self-fulfilment and empowerment, I disagree with it. I believe that nations should strengthen their bonds with others by exchanging products and food.

Due to issues such as cyberbullying and student disengagement resulting from the use of these devices, many schools have now banned them in classrooms and yards. In my view, this is beneficial to learners’ academic performance and emotional wellbeing.

Nowadays, food industries rely on preservatives and chemicals. Although food processing using chemicals enhances food quality, the hazardous side of these substances is more powerful. I agree with the previous statement and I will justify my argument in the upcoming paragraphs.

Many individuals believed people do not need to work after the age of sixty, and that it can pose several challenges if professionals are allowed to continue work after they turn sixty. I agree with this because it must be a great extent.

Some may argue that unpaid work for teenagers should be mandatory. I personally concur that working teens may have positive impacts on society and teens themselves, I do not agree with those who think it has to be an obligation.

In recent years, there has been an argument among people that children of both genders should be taught in separate schools instead of co-education. In this essay, I shall discuss both perspectives and provide my opinion. I personally side with those who argue children should learn together.

A highly controversial issue is whether the government should keep allocation to save those languages which have a few speakers or not budget for them. Many these days contend that both spouses should work and provide for the entire family. on the contrary, In my opinion, though advisable in certain circumstances, it is preferable to subdivide roles within a family so that parents can spend enough time with their kids along with providing sufficient financial support and only one spouse should work. For instance , the father can take up the role of nurturing offspring and the mother can provide financial support or vice-versa.

One section of folk believes that TV is just an amusement tool and does not help in improving an individual knowledge. To me, it depends on how it is being used by a person. Historically, prison is considered to be the best method to eradicate crime, this is deeply rooted in the mentality that eradicating criminals will solve the problem of crime. There are strong grounds for this argument however the problem is in the ways criminals are trying to meet their needs due to improper teaching and thus it is agreed that better education is a better way of resolving the wrongdoing.
