Scientists and technology experts seem to be more valued by modern society than musicians and artists. To what extent do you agree?

Science and technology are essential components of modern society that have allowed for evolution and progress. Science aids in the understanding of fundamental principles of the universe and technology aims to use science to improve life quality.Some may argue that music and art are put aside in modern society. In which proportions does modern society choose science and technology instead of art and music ? I am convinced that science and technology are omnipresent today taking the place of music and art and I will demonstrate this with two principal arguments.

Today the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, developed communicational ways have set the stage for media and advertisement to flourish in that people buy essential or maybe some surplusage commodities every day which are widely advertised by the media. I almost agree with this notion that some of these purchases are more due to extensive advertising rather than the needs of the community, yet in my opinion, two factors can have an influence on this matter which are the individual economic situation and the level of buyer’s scrupulosity. In the following, I am going to discuss these factors comprehensively.

I agree that some categories of workers should retire and receive a pension earlier than others. We can set retirement age depending on the occupation, health status, and job experience.

I cannot say not to spend on any road development. Even though road construction has many benefits, the railways need to be developed, supported and innovated by the government more than roads. To develop and step up in technology, the money should be spent on railways rather than roads. I wholly agree with this argument, and I will explain why from my perspective.

Nowadays some nations prefer to live in their own house whereas other societies would rather rent a house due to some reasons such as their economic levels, relationship circumstances and transportation situations.From my point of view,owning a home is a more sensible case than renting a house because of two valid and rational reasons.

Many university students live with their families while others live away from home because their universities are in different places.

Nowadays,a number of undergraduates find a dwelling with their parents very comfortable while others opt for living away from their home because their campus is situated at a different location. There are several aspects of these options, I will discuss those in the subsequent paragraphs. Staying with family comes with several advantages. One of the main favourable aspects is getting a chance to save yourself a ton of time by not having to think about household chores. Obviously, not being burdened by concerns such as what to cook for a dinner or cleaning the rooms leaves you plenty of time to focus on your studies. As a result, you have a chance to improve your academic performance. Nonetheless, being in the comfort of your parents' home can be a struggle sometimes. People who live in foreign countries may encounter many problems. In my opinion, although somtimes it really results in serious social problems and practical problems, I think that these can all be solved after they live in that country for a period.

Nowadays, in some countries, more and more youngsters are residing with their parents after finishing from college, university even they are earning money and working in multinational companies. I believe that there are more demerits overshadow the merits.

The argument of planning for the future is believed to be a waste of time instead of paying more attention to the present. I support this statement as the future plans are uncertain and dreaming about the future without giving effort in the present easily leads to becoming a lazy person.
