Major sporting events such as the Olympics and the World Cup are watched by billions across the world, raking in billions of dollars in profit. Moreover, they are international competitions that every nation aims to participate in and win, as victory can be tremendously beneficial towards their national identity, netting them fame worldwide. Being the host nation of an international competition such as the Olympics or the World Cup can already contribute massively towards its international standing, as it is a lucrative asset towards growing the nation's economy, identity, and tourism numbers. With all of these benefits, many nations tend to compete against each other in bidding wars and campaigns to secure their position as the next nation to host an international sporting event.
In life, being successful is not a guarantee - it is an achievement that requires dedication, sacrifice, and the mindset to always improve. Furthermore, this philosophy applies most to business, as it is one of the most competitive fields of work. Many people argue that a tertiary education, such as a master's degree, is needed to achieve success in business, as the education that universities provide is essential to business. However, I disagree, as success is not measured by how much you learn, but how much you execute. The person themselves is responsible for achieving success; a university can be a useful prerequisite, although it is possible for someone without a master's degree to achieve success within the field of business.
There is no denying the fact that history is an important subject. While some people believe that studying history is a waste of time and is not needed in modern life, there is also an argument that it is essential to learn about the past. This essay will discuss both views and express my opinion.
The primary purpose of science is often believed to be the improvement of human life. While this view is reasonable, I partly agree with the statement. Although science should largely aim to benefit society, it should not be confined to this single objective.
The increasing obesity is considered detrimental for the functioning of the health care system as the medical sector must cope with its numerous consequences. It is considered that the most effective method of handling that issue would be to provide the schools with extra physical education classes. From my point of view, this solution would help the healthcare industry, but there is a possibility that it could cause the opposite effect.
The mass manufacturing field is significantly impacted by new technologies. Although there are positive sides of the automated industry , like more rapid production of goods , drawbacks include risks of processing in the incorrect order and the lack of quality. This essay will examine both positive and negative sides of this trend before providing my own opinion.

Whether becoming rich through unethical approaches is acceptable, even if it contributes to society, is a controversial issue. While some people believe that positive outcomes can justify questionable methods, others argue that ethical principles should never be compromised. This essay will discuss both views before presenting my own opinion.
In my view, while the internet does present certain barriers to entry, its capacity to democratize information and provide global opportunities ultimately makes it a powerful equalizer. Although many people believe that the internet is significantly widening the economic gap between the wealthy and the impoverished, others argue that it actually serves as a vital tool in reducing this inequality.
Some people believe that children should begin their formal education at a very young age, while others argue that it is better for children to start school when they are older. Both views have their own advantages and disadvantages, which will be discussed below.
The rich countries often donate to poorer countries, although they fail to effectively tackle poverty. Moreover, wealthier countries should give additional support instead of funding. I am in full agreement with the idea that practical help , such as education and jobs, can lead to long-term improvements.
The education system has placed an emphasis on physical education and developing a healthy body, as exercise is a crucial aspect of a child's development and general well-being. Moreover, many schools have promoted competitive sports programs as both a way of having a healthy body and nurturing teambuilding skills within a high-pressure environment. It is with these reasons that I believe physical education and competitive sports are an important aspect of school and should be compulsory for all students to participate in.
Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should work in the country where they received their training. Others think that they should be free to work in another country if they want. This essay will discuss both views and give my opinion.
In many nations, the population has several health issues because of the unhealthy lifestyles they are following. The primary reasons behind this trend are eating unhealthy junk food and a lack of physical activity. But this problem can be solved by increasing the tax on street food and providing facilities, like exercise equipment, to the public.
In recent years, the topic of water scarcity has emerged as a significant concern for the general public. This problem is caused by several environmental and human factors, and both governments and communities play an important role in ensuring a reliable and sufficient water supply for everyone.
In contemporary society, the media has increasingly prioritized sensational stories of crises, disasters, and social problems over accounts of progress and positive developments. While some argue that this trend merely reflects reality, I strongly believe that the predominance of negative reporting is detrimental both to individuals and to society as a whole. This essay will examine the psychological consequences for audiences and the broader social implications before concluding that a more balanced approach is essential.
Recently, some cultural artefacts have not been returned to their original countries. Some people consider that museums should return these artefacts to their original countries. Others argue against such opinions.
The contemporary fashion landscape has witnessed a significant paradigm shift, with the younger generation increasingly eschewing traditional retail in favor of second-hand garments. This trend is primarily driven by a growing commitment to environmental stewardship and a desire for sartorial uniqueness. In my view, this is an unambiguously positive development, as it promotes a circular economy and challenges the destructive "throwaway" culture of fast fashion.
