Many people believe that music is just a form of entertainment, whilst others believe that music has a much larger impact on society today. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. (250 words).

People have different opinions over whether music just provides enjoyment to people or not. Regarding this, some assert that music has a great power that influent on society in contemporary society. This essay will outline why they support each side and my view.

Schools should not force children to learn a foreign language, because some students don’t have a natural ability for languages. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

The education system should not force our children to learn a new foreign language because not all of them are mentally prepared to learn it. To that extent, I am partly in agreement due to the following reasons that I will explain in this essay.

Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. Do you agree or disagree?

In these modern days, processed foods and fizzy drinks are quite popular and they contain high level of sugar which can cause multiple health issues. It is argued that their prices should be higher in order to reduce sugar consumption. I totally agree with that as it would help decrease causing multiple diseases as well as make the population pick up better choices for their health.

The issue of smoking in public is constantly raising . Some hold the view that it's so harmful as smokers badly affect the air and the health of humans surrounding them , others have a divers view that they can act the way they want neglecting others needs and situations . In my opinion , I agree that the government should restrict smoking even ban it in parks and public transportation .My convention will be further explained .

In this present world, some children watch films in order to educate themselves in many areas which have many positive effects on them. in my opinion, watching films for educational reasons, appears to have negatives as well as positives. In this essay, we will discuss both advantages and disadvantages of this method of learning.

There is a lot of pressure on young people today to succeed academically. As a result, some people believe that non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, should be removed from the school syllabus so that children can concentrate on academic work. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Students nowadays are under a lot of pressure to achieve academical success in order to get into a good university or secure a well paid job. For this reason some people argue that schools need to focus on academic subjects and vocational subjects should therefore not taught at schools. I would argue that while academic skills are important, schools need to teach a wide range of both academic and more skills-based subjects.

In today's world, crime rates are unprecedentedly high. There can be several reasons behind this, including unemployment and media influence, that I will elaborate on and provide some feasible solutions to in the following paragraphs.

TECHNOLOGICAL DEVICES HAVE BEEN ENTRANCED EVERY FIELD OF LIFE. IN RECENT YEARS, SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ARGUING THAT THIS CHANGE HAS A DETRIMENTAL EFFECT ON PEOPLE'S FAMILY AND SOCIAL LIVES BASED ON THEIR PREFERENCE OF WATCHING TELEVISION INSTEAD OF SPENDING TIME WITH OTHER PEOPLE. I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT AND THIS ESSAY WILL EXPLAIN HOW TV SHOWS CAN ENHANCE PEOPLE RELATIONS.

In their advertising, businesses nowadays usually emphasise that their products are new in some way. Why is this? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Always advertisements try to impress with a new product that a business has just lounged. However, now, it is noticed that, they promote a product focusing on a special thing which might have. In my opinion, they are making an effort to appeal consumers, making them curious to try the product and personally speaking, this is a negative development, because we keep on buying things that we do not really need. This essay will discuss the reasons of this development and if that is a negative or positive one.

Competitiveness is seen as a positive quality for people to have in many societies today. How does this competitiveness affect individuals? Is it a positive or negative quality?

These days, many countries regard competitiveness as a quality that can make people more productive. Ironically, in my opinion, this trend leads to the opposite side instead of the positive effect. Under the pressure of competition, people are less likely to feel satisfied and need to put in more effort to achieve the same success as now.

With fast pace of modern life more and more people are turning towards fast food for their main meals. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In this modern world, as well as individuals come home only for sleep, and they have no time for cooking. Therefore, plenty of individuals tend to have fast food for their daily diet. In my opinion, I firmly believe that eating fast food is not an adventage things, because it makes illness and high cost.

Early childhood diseases is the major causes of death globally. Meanwhile, new discoveries of vaccines is essential to humankind. Mortality rate could be diminished once vaccination law is abided by the public however some parents are against with it.

Most people believe that excessive amount of patriotism are spreading hatred and many other disadvantages for the country. Others, however, argue that this thing is causing happiness in specific regions. In my point of view, there exist more advantages of patriotism over disadvantages.

A large number of physicians and educators are migrating to weatlhy nations and leaving their poor countries behind. This trend could cause serious problems, such as long waiting treatment periods or poor quality in the education field. These problems can be alleviated by implementing new salary regulations in the labour market.

Nowadays, there has been a widely spread problem on the internet. Copyright materials are easily used by others, this is resulting in the owners of the work losing money. As a matter of fact, I believe it is a big issue that we have the free will of using it.

Nowadays, some people believe that judge the person based upon the social status and materialistic possessions. There is no much importance given to traditional values such as, kindness, honour or trust. I absolutely oppose this trend and do not agree. It is should be the criteria to judge someone's worth and this essay attempts to discuss the same.
