It is impossible for governments to help all the people in the world who need helps, so governments should focus only on helping people in their own countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, it seems that the gap between the rich and poor is widening in both individuals and countries. However, it is unlikely for wealthy governments to assist all people living in poverty and thus some people think that they can concentrate only on helping their own citizens. I partly agree with this view.

For centuries, important parts of education have remained, such as reading, writing and maths. With the advent of computers, some people think that computer skills be made us a fourth skill to be added to the list. To what extent do you agree?

The traditional material of education including reading, writing and maths is being speculated to shift by many, with a growing regard for desktop computer science as a necessary concept, a new idea in training students. In this essay, I will advocate this idea and explain my reasons in favour of this phenomenon.

For some people, it is commonly believed that developing multiple life skills is the best way to succeed. However, I disagree with this viewpoint for several reasons.

Human resources or HR departments prefer to judge their job applicants based on their soft skills rather than their hard skills. In an ever-progressive society, whether senior citizens should extend their careers into later years in case they are still feasible to work is an argumentative topic. From this writer’s perspective, it is adverse for seniors if they are willing to pursue their occupation due to health concerns as well as the fast-paced environment.

While this perception is somewhat justifiable, I believe that conventional newspapers are irreplaceable to various extents.

People often believe that the death penalty is effective in preventing serious crimes while others think the life-long sentence is more likely to discourage potential offenders from committing illegal acts. I partially agree with the latter, for more severe experiences they would have to make amends for their sins regardless of the death penalty being an extreme form of punishment.

There is a controversy over the matter of whether books, as the main resource of education, should be replaced by films and computerized materials; however, I agree that utilizing films and computers for education is beneficial and I will explain the reasons here.

Many people think that hobbies should have a difficulty level to be entertaining. I disagree with the idea of difficulty bringing enjoyment to specific activities . Because of the troublesome moments, many individuals lose their excitement and avoid doing stressful tasks.

The government spend enormous amount of money on renovation of old buildings in large cities. Some believe that this money is better spent on building new houses and road development. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this argument?

Many are of the opinion that governmental funds should be allocated towards erecting new residential facilities and improving roads rather than reconstructing outdated buildings in metropolitan areas. However, I am largely in disagreement with this perspective since the construction of new housing buildings and road renovation require a significant amount of financial and environmental resources, thereby placing substantial burdens on society.

There is a controversial debate over the matter if it is better for employees to work remotely or if they should be present at the office. Many people argue that working from home is advantageous; however, I hold the conviction that there are also some demerits.

These days, youngsters waste hours every day on electronic devices because of the attraction of social media and lots of games. To my way of thinking, it is a negative development for offspring and affects their health, learning and future.

It has become an increasingly heated topic for the government to allocate funds in space exploration with many commentators suggesting that they should invest in the country's development to create beneficial advantages to the nation. I would agree with this and provide an effective way to allocate this money.

The number of crime commitments has been proliferated in many cities all over the world. I can identify two main reasons and their possible solutions, which we will describe now.

It is commonly believed by many that many social issues such as traffic jams and accommodation will be tackled easily by relocating industrial spaces to outskirt zones. The writer of this essay, however, remains unconvinced by this school of thought because of the improvement in local infrastructure coupled with the rising population in the countryside.
