Driven by the increasing population and economic growth, the demand for energy that mainly comes from fossil fuel currently grows rapidly, as a result of some suggestions that we should source more from faraway and unexploited areas. From my perspective, the demerits of the activity outweigh the merits.

This situation is like a coin with both aspects of pros and cons, but this essay will state the advantages of this drastic shift over-rides the disadvantages.

The exaggerated role of economic growth at the expense of other factors is singled out as a pressing issue preoccupied many governments. It is irrefutable that financial status can drive an entire country's situation; however, I oppose this conservative capitalist viewpoint.
