Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

One of the problems which have been caused by the burst of the population in recent decades is waste production increasing. Regarding this issue, some people believe that the level of recycled materials which are made by homes trash is not ample, and the only way to increase recycling is by passing some laws by governments. I highly believe that laws are required to raise the recycling process because of at least two reasons which I am going to elucidate in the following paragraphs.

The unlimited use of cars may cause many problems. What are those problems? In order to reduce the problems, should we discourage people to use cars?

Nowadays a car has become a social status in everyone's life. People judge each other by looking at their mode of travel. However, there are many issues associated with the usage of cars such as pollution, health problems and traffic jams. Yes, the government should discourage the public by installing more public transport facilities.

The government's investment in arts, music and theatre is a waste of money. Governments should invest these funds in public services instead. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

In this contemporary era, many developing nations follow the trend set by western countries which involves spending a colossal sum on entertainment facilities like arts, music, and theatre. However, there are some individuals who argue that these funds should rather be spent on enhancing the quality of public services like medical aid, infrastructure, and generating employment. In my opinion, I strongly think that putting public interest before amusement facilities is vital, as many underdeveloped societies need them urgently.

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behaviour to children?

Learning the differences between right and wrong at an early age for children is so substantial. Some people expound that punishment is necessary to help their learning. From my perspective, I agree with punishment to some extent meanwhile, encouragement can be definitely helpful in this field too. Furthermore, there are some sorts of penalties which parents are allowed to use. In the following, I shall further discuss the issue, comprehensively.

As society is advancing by leaps and bounds, the attitude people adopt towards social evolution has undergone a noticeable and far-reaching transformation. Under this circumstance, an absolute consensus is hardly reached as to whether authorities should focus on providing capital for schooling and put less money on artwork in the country’s developmental strategy. For my part, I side with the advocates to a larger extent based on the following sound reasons.

Transportation is an integral part of our modern world, and an enormous number of commodities and passengers are translocated every day through roads, railway systems, or aeroplanes. Some people believe that governments ought to spend their budget mostly on railway systems rather than roads; I highly disagree with this notion because of two reasons which I am going to explain in the following paragraphs.

In the current days, it is argued that it is preferable college courses should be delivered online since it has benefits. When it comes to me, I totally agree due to the fact that it enhances students’ performance, as well as, it is more flexible. Nowadays, people are majorly focused on their health. Some people think that many manufactured food and drink products contain a high amount of sugar, and for that reason, people are suffering from many health problems the government should increase the price of the items which contain high amounts of sugar. I strongly agree with this statement and I think that organisations should research more on their products and manufacture products that contain less sugar. I will explain my reasons for it in the following paragraphs.

Nowadays, advertisements have been around us in many aspects of our life. There have been disputes as to whether it would have positive effects on our economy or negative ones on our society. In my opinion, advertising is a two-edged sword so we should make consideration before taking action.
