Many people believe that cycling is a healthy and environmentally friendly mode of transport. However, it is still unpopular in many countries. What are the reasons? What could be done to encourage the use of bicycles among wider population?

Numerous people are of the opinion that riding a bicycle is not only beneficial to well-being but has a less damaging effect on the environment. However, the use of this medium of transportation is still not widely accepted. This essay will address ignorance; as a major reason why it is still rarely being used and discuss the role of education and promotion of public awarenes about the value of cycling as a means of transportation in encouraging its use.

From my standpoint, students’ time is very valuable, and parents should use such extra time for developing children’s social and cognitive skills.

The population in some countries comprises a lower number of elders as compared to the younger people. Although there are a number of benefits involved with this situation, the drawbacks are not negligible. Nonetheless, I believe that the advantages far outweighed these disadvantages.

Globalisation has impacts on the economy of some countries. It can affect how people buy something. Nowadays, foreign brands establish their mall in domestic markets. Their existence hampers the local vendors because international franchise offers a more convenient way of shopping. Furthermore, the shopping centre provides cheaper prices than small businesses. So, regarding those reasons, I agree that supermarkets will directly compete with local businesses and bring the death of local communities.
