Some people think that the teenage years are the happiest time of most people’s lives. Others think that adult life brings more happiness, in spite of greater responsibility. Discuss both views and give your own opinion

It is often argued that the happiest period in human’s lives is the time when they are teenagers because they do not worry about life’s responsibility. While some people believe that even though adults have much duties to be responsible for, they can also bring happiness because they have freedom for spending money. I firmly believe that adults of working-age be able to enjoy their life more than adolescence.

Some people believe that it is important for young children to go to school as soon as possible. Others, however, believe that children should be allowed to stay at home and play until they are six or seven years old. Which viewpoint do you agree with? Why?

It is considered by some that it is necessary for kids to go to school as earlier as possible, while there are others who think that it is better for children to go to study after six or seven years old. I agree that it is better for children to start studying earlier because different cognitive skills develop faster in school.

People claim that is important to use free time for something more than resting. They think that practising exercises that made the mind work is what rest time should be used for. On the other hand, there is the opposite idea, the mind should be resting during the time someone does not have to work.

Genetically modified food has become increasingly popular over the past few decades. According to many, with an ever growing population at a fast pace, the country should utilise the GM method to get hold of food scarcity, while others consider this is detrimental to health as well as its poor impact on the natural environment. Studying overseas is believed by some people to be beneficial to the student’s home country. From my perspective, although there is a potential risk of a brain drain, students who study overseas make great financial and intellectual contributions to their countries and therefore I completely agree with the idea.

Education is an essential part of everyone life, but some children are deprived of this. Although it is sometimes thought education should be free to students from all economic backgrounds. In my opinion, I considered that University education ought to be free, as it will greatly benefit both individuals and society, but it has some drawbacks also.
