Nowadays, traffic and pollution are common issues that people face. One of the solutions to cope with this issue is to increase the petrol price by the government. This will be the best strategy to restrict the use of petrol and could decrease traffic and pollution. I, personally, agree with the strategy for some reasons.

Each medium has its unique advantages, but in my perspective, the internet emerges as the most effective way to obtain news due to its immediacy, diversity, and interactive nature.

Personal experiences in community service and/or involvement

Located on the southern coast of West Java, Indonesia, facing the magnificent Indian Ocean, Pangandaran is a coastal town blessed with scenic landscapes and abundant fisheries potential. However, the city struggled to maintain its economic resources due to environmental degradation and its vulnerability to natural disasters, such as tsunamis and abrasion. These issues led me to join a community service project in Pangandaran organized by the student association in my department during my undergraduate studies at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. This project also collaborated with the Department of Oceanography ITB and local government.

Some people argue that reducing the speed limit of vehicles on the roads is the best way to prevent accidents in cities, while others say that there are other significant issues which need to be prioritized. while setting the speed limit contributes to safety on the road, I believe that the government should address the immediate needs of the community such as healthcare and free education. This essay will discuss both views and my opinion in detail with relevant examples.

Although working a few hours a day while studying has some benefits for the young ones, it can also cause serious issues. This essay will demonstrate how students develop the knowledge and skills required for their future employment but will also show that this can lead to such problems as a lack of focus on studies. Whilst acknowledging that there are positives, the essay will argue that the disadvantages of such jobs outweigh the advantages.

Whilst it is believed that globalization has provided dozens of new tourism-related opportunities for many countries around the world, implications such as mass immigration and pollution are causing a salient concern for the locals. However, I think the positive payback of tourism will shadow its drawbacks in total.

For the past couple of years, thanks to advances in technology, the students’ cultivation of knowledge has become far more convenient. Taking risks is crucial in our context of the 21st century where everything can be achieved by trying hard. There are more and more discussions about whether making risky decisions is positive or negative. From what I have experienced, I would agree that the pros outweigh the cons.
