The reason why plastic is so common is that it is easy to make and can be transformed into almost anything, from toys to utensils, furniture to foods packagings, and it can be used everywhere. This is alarming since we have not yet found any effective way to recycle it. Consequently, we end up dumping it in huge quantities in the oceans.
