Formal examinations are the only effective way to assess a student's performance. Continual assessment such as coursework and projects is not a satisfactory way to do this. Do you agree or disagree?

In recent times, the pattern of assessing a student’s performance has changed. Earlier, formal examinations were the cornerstone of assessment which has now been taken over by projects and coursework. Though, some people view this change as unsatisfactory, it is disagreed by many, including myself which is elaborated in the following paragraphs.

Nowadays, there has been an upward trend in people watching foreign films rather than locally produced films. Although most viewers may not fully comprehend the dialect or the language spoken in these films, there are subtitles encoded in the screen which removes the language barriers and helps gain a wider audience and viewership. The governments must also give more financial support to local film industries since they reflect the customs and culture followed in these nations since the early days. In this essay, I will discuss the reasons for the cause and why governments must provide more incentives to local cinemas.

A lot of foods and drinks produced in factories involve high levels of sugar, which leads to various health problems. in regards to preventing people to use, choosing a high price on these products should be considered. In the modern era, the industrial revolution is the reliable criterion to depict how prosperous a nation is because businesses contribute to developing the infrastructure of the area where they establish their units and offices and for this reason, nowadays authorities are encouraging such entities to move to the outskirts of the metropolitan cities. In my opinion, it is a positive trend and certainly far more advantageous than disadvantageous.

it can be seen these days that a lot of food is being wasted by many people, and even the elite class do not bother to refrain from this act.there can be many reasons as to why they do this, but it seems the busy schedule of public nowadays and attraction to different foodchains contributes to this factor.,however,by the influence of social media along with community work with organizations can help tackle this issue, that we will discuss in detail in our essay.

It is acceptable in many nations for students to earn and pay their educational expenses while in others, the authorities are responsible for all these payments. I strongly believe the latter is a better option and its advantages outnumber the disadvantages.

Women and men are commonly seen as having different strengths and weaknesses. Is it right to exclude males or females from certain professions because of their gender?

Gender bias has been prevalent in our society for many years now since the age of industrialization. The common misconception that women are mostly good at doing house chores such as weaving, knitting and pottery and that men with chivalry are the chief breadwinners of the family by taking part in laborious tasks is slowly disappearing from society these days. Although women and men have different strengths and weaknesses, in my opinion, it is not right to exclude males or females from certain professions because of their gender. In this essay, I will discuss and analyze the salient points from both views and I would draw a reasonable conclusion.
