It is true that we now live in a world that is flooded with negative news about various problems and emergencies on a daily basis. People argue that this type of media orientation can be detrimental to our physical and psychological condition, and even to our society. In my opinion, a balance should be found between reporting positive news and despairing news.

I concur with the latter viewpoint, which acknowledges that this behaviour may foster inequality among the youth and materialism.
