Some educationalists argue that non-exam, arts-based subjects, such as music, drama, art and craft, should be compulsory in the secondary-school curriculum. They believe that activities such as these can improve overall academic performance. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, many opinions suggest that students only focus on science subjects, but forget the crucial role of art-based ones. While many studies show that non-exam, art-based subjects help them, especially in secondary school , to improve their academic performance. Personally, I totally agree with this opinion because of the undeniable benefits it brings to students.

School Curriculum is one of the most revolutionary issues in societies. Children have to learn many lessons in school that some people think just some are important. In my idea, all school’s skills are essential for children.

Drinks that have a high proportion of carbohydrates are immensely popular in all ages. Hence, a segment of society opines that high charges should be imposed on the products to discourage the consumption of sugar. I disagree with the aforementioned statement for the following reasons.

However, others think this leads to Environmental problem, so air travel should be more expensive in order to discourage people from having it. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Issues related to air travel are frequently being discussed these days. Growing concerns are becoming heated questions among the people that flights should be at affordable prices for the general public . While this view is rubbished by some critics who oppose it. This dissertation accedes with the given statement . Both sides have their logic to support their opinion which will be discussed in this dissertation before coming to any conclusion.

Some people argue that capital punishment is a brutal decision and should be abolished. Do you agree or disagree?

People have different views about the death penalty as some think that it is a ruthless judgement and should be discontinued. However, in my opinion, I believe that the death penalty should remain because not only can it serve as a deterrent to serious crimes but it also means that taxpayers’ money won’t be spent on taking care of the criminals, who have committed serious crimes, for life.

Many today feel that the home no longer plays the largest role in child development. In my opinion, though outside factors have become increasingly invasive, family life is still more influential.

Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase recycling Is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

Nowadays, countries are contributing to combating different kinds of pollution, and one of which that is the most direct to people's daily life is the domestic garbage issue. In order to reduce the amount of garbage, some people say authorities must enact laws to mandate citizens to do recycling. In my opinion, I totally agree with this idea and think that humans are inherently lazy to do so and are aloof from environmental issues.

Becoming a famous person like a superstar or sportsman will have drawbacks as much as benefits. Personally, I think that being a popular person can earn more profits than having some problems which are able to be solved. Therefore, advantages and disadvantages will be discussed.

Nowadays, it is a common practice that many students travel to other countries to pursue their studies. Certain people believe that education in western countries enables one to develop their interpersonal skills and social contacts. A fraction of people opines that this has attributed positively to the home country. This has pros and cons, but in my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons.

This essay will discuss why some individuals have this altitude and why it is can be considered a negative point.

Some people think that people will no longer buy newspapers and books in the future as they can get the same data and knowledge online for free. While the prediction may seem rather harsh, I agree with the statement because not only will online media completely replace traditional publishing due to greater accessibility but also because of their more up-to-date nature.

The challenge of the modern world is that youths are consuming various drugs. Although there are laws that prohibit the use of it, still it is not followed rigorously. This essay will discuss the root cause of the problem mainly unemployment and the lack of enforcement of laws, and will also suggest the way out including avenues to create jobs and the introduction of rehabilitation centres.

It is argued that choosing a career to pursue at a young age and maintaining it for the rest of life facilitates having a more satisfying career. In my opinion, I partly agree with this opinion because I believe that apart from benefits gained when we decide our jobs early, owning job satisfaction requires more than that.

Nowadays, as society developed and the demand for studying increases, some universities are currently providing online courses for pupils, and many people think this is a practical development. Personally speaking, I believe that this can bring some significant disadvantages on students.

Nowadays, if students want to take admission to a university they have to pay high tuition fees, and a majority of them cannot afford it, so a section of society believes that higher study should be free for everyone. I strongly opine with this view.

It is widely believed that one solution to environmental problems would be for governments to raise the pay for petrol. In my opinion, cars and other vehicles are the major contributors to air pollution and society prefers to use their own vehicles to transfer rather than using public transportation.
