A person’s health is their own responsibility rather than the government’s responsibility. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Maintaining good health is the first and foremost aspect of each individual in this modernized world. There are two predominantly contradicting views are being observed in this society. Firstly, it is an individual responsibility to take care of their fitness, secondly, the government has to come forward to help the people to maintain proper well-being. I completely agree with the former statement along with the supporting examples in this essay to back it up.

Many countries aim to improve living standard by economic development, but some important social values are lost as a result. Do the advantages of economic development outweigh the disadvantages?

The living standard of many countries in the 20th Century has improved drastically in contrast to the 19th century. People believe that this betterment of living has been bought into existence due to economic development and in the process of such improvement, many vital social values have been lost. In my opinion, the change in better living culture has been a silver lining to the world, despite losing some of its social values.

Without capital punishments (the health penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violence increases. Capital punishment in essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is believed that without death sentence people's lives are under less protection and a number of offences rise, thus, this kind of sentence quite necessary to control a crime level in a community. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this statement because the health penalty would lead to protests and even more committed crimes, moreover, nowadays people have more humanistic and effective ways of sanction.

Infants have a reflection of both their mother and father characteristics. Some people believe that motherhood is more crucial for a baby than fatherhood, while on the contrary other believes fatherhood is equally as vital for them. Technology becomes one of the most vital areas of human civilization. Its development has been changed people live in many aspects, especially in the way how people communicate. In many developed countries, young people have the liberty of what they want to do whereas, in several other countries, parents or authorities set strict rules on young people's actions. In my opinion, it is necessary to discipline children with some rules, however,these restrictions should be at a specific extent, and children should have some sort of freedom as well.

Travel is a major source of income for many countries and it is gaining popularity slowly among the population. In the upcoming time, few believe that people will prefer to explore their own country as compared to having international trips. With the rapid increase in population resulting in the never-ending demand for food, people opine that genetically modified food is the answer, while others believe that it might actually be a curse for the masses and the environment. I assert that altering the gene make-up of plants, using biotechnology might prove more harmful than a boon to the human race.
