Thanks to the advances in global travelling, people nowadays can spend lesser money going abroad than before, which leads to a boom in the tourism industry. Although this trend may raise environmental problems, it will also help local people who are on low incomes. In my opinion, the poor will be better off having more tourists from overseas despite the environmental challenges that people will face.

Our world is more connected than before owing to the improvement of transportation and aviation. There are various types of airlines started from low fair to full-service airlines. Therefore, a traveller has the power to choose which airline is suited for them. For this reason, the cost of travelling abroad is more effort able than before and leads to the increase of the tourism. In my view, I believe that the rise of tourism has more benefits than drawbacks. Thus I will discuss my opinion in this essay before reaching its conclusions.
