In many countries, fewer and fewer people go to universities to study science. What's the reason for this? What can be done to encourage people to learn science?

Nowadays, in many ,nations young folks have shown less interest in spending their time learning science at universities. In this essay, I will discuss the reason for this and what can be done and I will give my own opinion.

In recent years, many small local shops have closed because customers travel to large shopping centres or malls to do their shopping. Is this a positive or a negative development?

Nowadays, all over the world, the topic of the development of shopping is omnipresent. While some people think the advantages of large shopping centres exist, other people think there are disadvantages of closing small local shops. From my point of view, I think both perspectives are valid for the reasons discussed below.

The loss of plants and animals is the main concern these days. Their natural habitat is now on the radar which results in the reduction of flora and fauna on the planet. Nowadays, more people are interested in doing some research to find out about the history of the properties they live in. This could be due to the apparition in newspapers of stories about “ghost” houses in the last years. Another reason could be that new owners are more involved in getting to know the place where they live. Besides this, two common options to do some research are going to the library as well as asking directly the neighbours about the place.

Throughout history, prowess in sports has always been considered a blessing, though time and time again, the topic of hard work versus talent has always been a debatable one in society. While some believe that some of us are just born with innate abilities to dominate in physical activities, others believe that it's perseverance through each and every day that gets us to success in sports.

Some filmmakers spend millions of dollars to produce one movie. To stand out among other movies to the audience, it has become necessary to spend the amount to make a movie successful. However, there are some other aspects which need to be fulfilled to make a movie successful such as casting and story.

Many schools give more importance to the courses which are related to the science field and motivate children to choose science courses, whereas youngsters are told not to opt for courses like arts and literature. I strongly believe this is a negative development because of the following reasons.

Youngsters these days are not able to cope with life problems effectively, rather for each small problem, they need the urge to smoke a cigarette to relax their minds. Not only will it affect their health, but also their social and mental well-being. There are a lot of reasons why they opt for smoking as a cure. These reasons and their possible solutions will be explained in this essay.

It is often argued that some people tend to enjoy their free time with colleagues post working hours, while others believe work and family time should be separated to have a better balance. In my opinion, I completely agree that personal life should be separated from the workplace because if more time is spent with people in the office, they might take advantage of our personal situation and sometimes it encourages us to have some special bonding to work as a team.

Nowadays, people prefer to read news on online platforms as there are many apps available and individuals don't have time to read newspapers and it's not easy to carry and read newspapers in crowded places. Individuals can directly read news on their phone applications as it is more convenient and easy. In this essay, I will discuss my reading preference and will explain the reason for it.

Gone are those days when many people from several nations were only either participating in fitness sessions or playing outdoor games, however, they now have started to employ a private fitness tutor to exercise more effectively. This essay will discuss the reasons behind this change that I see as a positive development.
