Some educationalists argue that non-exam, arts-based subjects, such as music, drama, art and craft, should be compulsory in the secondary curriculum. They believe that activities such as these can improve overall academic performance. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Recently, some educational professors have deemed that art-relevant courses (e.g., music, drama, art, and craft) add to a compulsory course system for high school students since it is a paramount approach to improving academic performance. Personally, I fundamentally agree with this assertion for two reasons.

I am inclined towards the first point of view rather than the second one because students can get high-paying jobs and can excel in their field based on their expertise.
