IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 6
In today's world, paying money to the government contributes to our society and our obligation to support the mutual public system. However, other folklore groups consider doing more to help those in poor conditions. I will discuss both views and show my opinion in the following paragraphs.
Undoubtedly, the young generation should take more responsibility in the workplace with more chances, while some people contend that the older and seniors should enjoy their retirements in advance to make room for the youngsters, especially those who are over 55. From my perspective, I agree that younger and older people should be treated differently at work.
A large number of people are considering flats and apartments as their accommodations in urban areas without any open space and gardens. As it has both kinds of impacts on human nature. Because the one basic factor is that family bonds become strong and it is easy to clean. Whereas, the drawbacks are that as it does not contain any garden one can feel stressed and due to the small area unable to do physical activities like outdoor games. I believe that the advantages are greater than the disadvantages hence it is a positive development.
According to some, exams are an unsuitable way of measuring student's abilities and they should be replaced by continuous assessments. In my opinion, I agree with the statement because exams lead to a negative influence on students' mental health and assessments are more effective than exams.
As globalization era technology and fashion trends are connected by social humans. It makes the public concerned about the clothes or the level of society which will make children focus more on fashionable clothes when they go to school. Some people think that students should interested in the lesson rather than their appearance by wearing new clothes and wearing school uniforms. In my view, there is a pivot advantage for a child and parents in the same way.
There have been controversial opinions whether the professionals such as doctors and engineers work in their home country or a foreign country. While some people believe that they should work in the country where they get educated, others think that they should be allowed to work in a foreign country if they want which I also definitely agree with. This essay will discuss both sides.
The pressure to be successful in this day and age is usually defined in terms of the wealth or material belongings a person possesses. Nowadays, one of the ways we deem success is by measuring a person's wealth. I believe that it is more than just financial status that attributes to success.
Nowadays, an increasing number of people think that extreme sports pose risks and ought to be prohibited. In my opinion, although acknowledging the potential risks of extreme sports, a complete prohibition is not warranted.
Nowadays most humans are reminded that eating meat is harmful for physical condition. In my opinion, meat is reliable for human health with respectful quantity. I disagree that meat is bad for health, this essay will discuss that I feel that for two reasons which I will explore in the following essay.
Nowadays, with advances in technology, many people believe that kids tend to abuse playing computer games, although it is harmful. Whereas others think that computer games bring lots of advantages to their lives. This essay will discuss both views.
Many people believe that elderly people are beneficial for trading, finance, and community. Whereas, others say that it harms marketing, the wealth system, and civilization. Although it is advantageous because we have more experienced and educated people with age. And also give their time properly to their work. However, others say that it is disadvantageous and consequently, will lead society toward unemployment, and also great pressure on the government for pensions. According to my perception, it is more beneficial if we give a chance to a new generation to introduce themselves and prove themselves. I will discuss both views in detail in this essay below.

It is often argued that children are wasting their time by reading more story books, however, some people argue that they could spend their time doing some other useful activities. This essay totally disagrees with this statement because reading story books plays a significant role in brain development as well as boosts their imagination skills. This essay will discuss my opinion in detail with relevant examples.

In this contemporary era, while proponents and I are of the belief that internet access should be restricted to protect minors from being exposed to improper substances, opponents argue that humans should have unlimited access to the internet because it is their right.
