In some countries, there has been an increase in the number of parents who educate their children themselves at home instead of sending them to school. Do you think the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

It is still a subject of debate whether the homeschooling system for students is the right path for them as many people say that traditional schools have more suitable feasibility for pupils. In this essay, I disagree with the motion; in contrary, I believe that the drawbacks outweigh the benefits.

Rich countries often give money to poorer countries, but it does not solve poverty. Therefore, developed countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It has been argued that funds given by developed countries do not help eradicate the problem of poverty in developing countries from a grassroots level. Hence, there should be an alternative solution to this issue. I disagree with the assumption that money is not influential. However, I do not deny that it is prone to be abused. Thus, other support may help solve the issue adequately.

It is thought by some of changing a job once in their life is better than staying in a company for their entire life. In my opinion, I agree that changing a career at least once in life will help a person grow as well as to get more benefits, however, staying in a job for a lifetime will also help individuals to feel more comfortable in their life.

Some people feel that the expenditure on cure investigations is considerably high and prevention is a better option to save from diseases. In this essay, I will discuss whether I agree with this statement. Firstly, I will explore how some diseases caused the death of thousands of people in human history. Secondly, I will consider how research will benefit humanity in terms of illnesses.

Some people say that it is necessary for young kids to learn the difference between good and bad things at a young age. They think punishment is required to help children to learn good behaviour. I personally believe that good appreciation is a better punishment to encourage kids to do well . In this essay, I will explain both sides by taking some examples from newspapers and journals.

Social media has become a part of our day-to-day life, offering us an effortless way to have fun, communicate with our loved ones and meet new people, however, some argue that without a doubt, social media has had a negative impact on society. I am completely in favour of that statement, for example, a 2011 study, showed that teens who spend too much time on social media are more likely to develop, anxiety, sleep deprivation and depression.

In recent years, some members of society have said that mobile phones are antisocial and phones should be forbidden in certain areas as the way smoking has been banned. From my perspective, people can use phones wherever they want.

In this essay, I will examine the advantages of such a move that can significantly outweigh the disadvantages.

In modern society, it is no longer necessary to slaughter animals for producing food, or non-food products such as clothes or medicine. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

People are slaughtering animals for goods every single day, they kept doing this throughout their history. But the question is, Do people really need to kill animals for their meat, fur or hides? Do they have to produce goods by using animals? The answer is negative. Due to the development of technology, people have decreased their demand for animal products, instead, they are more likely to use non-animal products. From my perspective, it is an inevitable and rightful social trend.

Many people would argue that playing video games and watching TV programs are helpful, however, others would argue that they do not improve mental skills of children. I totally agree with the first argument and believe that these games and programs offer visual stimulants and environment for socializing to children which might improve their mental abilities.

If employers continue to demand highly qualified graduates, more and more young people will choose higher education courses.
