It is an undeniable fact that the world is becoming a global village through an enormous development in technology. People are able to purchase their desired items in every corner of the globe quickly which intend to be an upside phenomenon. In the following ,paragraphs I will discuss the merits and demerits of the same.

Both reading and lecture discuss the pros and cons of exploiting the ocean floor. The author of the reading states that there is a negative impact on exploiting the ocean floor. However, the lecturer believes that it is good for the future.

Although earlier it was thought by many that obesity is an illness that mostly affects grown-up population, nowadays it impacts more and more children. Massive junk food advertising is believed to be the cause of the problem. Therefore, from my point of view, such measures as restricting this kind of advertising should be taken into account.

In today’s time, travelling to other countries has become a passion for people all around the world. Few argue that countries being travelled to may have detrimental impacts. As per my opinion, I completely disagree with this viewpoint, as such travels will help their economies to boost up and will support them to grow in many ways rather than having a wrong impact on countries being travelled to. In this contemporary era, most of the people are reliable on electronics gadgets. Many people think that nowadays, youth is dependent on technology such as mobile phone to read and write. They are concerned that it has negative impact on the children. In my opinion, I agree with the statement to some extent and also believe it has some benefits too. Normally, an exhibition in meseums and art galleries are held for the enjoyment of all members of society. With it is increasement, management of some mesuems charges entrance fees to see an exhibition while others provide it at free of cost. According to my point of view charging for an entry in museums and art galleries have merits outweigh it is drawbacks. There are cogent reasons behind it and I will discuss it in the following paragraphs.

Experience is the best teacher. Nowadays, it is undoubtedly true that personality is of paramount influence in shaping people's attitude. A growing number of people believe that these would have greater impact than valuable experiences on children's growth during their upbringing. I strongly agree with this and will give my reasons below.
