IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 7.5
While access to education should be universal and affordable, the reality is that it is often out of reach for many. High unemployment in some countries or regions may even make some feel that it is a waste of time. While situations and circumstances may vary, in general, we should do our part to make sure that as many people finish high school and university as possible.
The world has shown remarkable progress from the Stone Age to the world of technology. Every generation is getting more advanced and talented which has led to increasing competition in every aspect like acceptance in renowned universities, job opportunities, and many more. The prompt suggested that to cope, with the challenge students should be focused on only academic studies. I strongly disagree with the prompt due to two main reasons.
. There is no denying the fact that the educational system is an important rule for development in any society. While it is a commonly held belief that, schools are the reason for a well-known community, there is also an argument that opposes it. I consider, that the high level of kind-hearted and successful folks is the result of amazing educational institutions.
It is a face of modern life that physical newspapers will be replaced by the appearance of online news through other media. From my personal perspective, I totally agree with this view for some reasons I will discuss in this essay.
The question of whether learning is more effective in a group or individually is a topic of ongoing debate. While some argue that team learning is better, there are valid reasons to support individual learning as well. Both approaches have their merits, however, in my opinion, gathering learning holds advantages over solitary learning due to empathy and encouragement, diverse perspectives and divided work effectively.
It is believed that adolescents taking more exercises instead of studying should be allowed by their parents. While education plays a crucial role in their future career development, I strongly believe that less working out could have a detrimental impact on their health .
It is sometimes argued that the primary purpose for heading to various shopping centres will only be for recreation rather than buying groceries and other necessities . while I agree with the idea to some extent, it is my firm belief that shopping reason will never be replaced by any form of entertainment.
It is argued that the evolution of technology and science caused problems in the environment, some say that an easier method of life will save the environment, while others would argue that technology and science can help people look for answers to these issues. This essay will argue that although a simpler life will reduce contamination, I believe it is better to use automation and scientists to solve ecological issues.
It is believed that moral values taught by the guardians are more helpful to our future achievements than the skills acquired from educational institutions. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this view as the learning institutions ensure individuals get holistic growth as well as a well-paying job.
In the modern era, we regularly face various environmental problems in our everyday lives. There are some people who say that there should be a single international organization responsible for controlling these environmental problems rather than the national government. I completely disagree with this view and in my opinion, each national government should get involved in solving these problems. In the following paragraphs, I will provide support to my argument.
In the face of adversity, many people struggle with the question of whether to accept their fate or strive for improvement. While some may argue that it is best to accept a bad situation in order to avoid further hardship, I believe that it is more beneficial to adopt a proactive approach and work towards a better future.
Nowadays, new generations are more addicted to social media trends rather than having their own identity, where we can find young ones following the herd while choosing their hobbies instead of selecting an activity that they are really interested in. In my opinion, I believe that one should have the preferred hobbies that could live along with them and won't fade over time.
Some people believe that watching TV is a waste of time, while others have the point of view that this can be a form of leisure and entertainment. I disagree with the former opinion. To my mind, watching TV can be a valuable activity which can provide relaxation, enjoyment, and even education.
It is often a concern for parents whether television will have more negative effects than positive ones on their children. In my opinion, if children are supervised while watching television, it has more benefits than drawbacks.
Governments’ aims are always a subject of controversy. Some people say that a strong economy is the most important aspect of a country, while others argue that other types of progress such as education and the environment are crucial too. I believe that the economy should be developed in balance with other fields.
Over the past few decades, modern technology has developed significantly, including translation applications. Some people believe that computers have become an essential part of our lives, so we don't need to learn another language I completely disagree with this statement, because learning a foreign language can be used for educational and other purposes and it is the main source of income for some people.
Recently, there has been a concern about whether citizens should save all their hard-earned fortune instead of paying taxes to the officials. From my perspective, I have a disagreement towards the suggestion to avoid tax owing to its monumental role in the country's revenue and in lowering inequalities. In this essay, I will jot down the base judgements of my belief and draw some conclusions.
The relationship between the human race and brute has always been controversial. An increasing amount of individuals think that animal rights must be respected so, they do not consume them. While other people deem that humans must utilize them to satisfy their requirements and demands. I believe That, although indiscriminate use of beasts can have negative outcomes, lack of use of them can also have bugs. In this essay, I will argue both viewpoints.
In today's fast-paced world, public health has become a paramount concern. There are varying opinions on how to enhance public health, with some asserting that increasing the number of sports facilities is the most effective approach, while others argue that this would yield only marginal improvements. I believe that more sports facilities have good effects on public health but not much.
It is often said that the primary purpose of science should be to improve people’s lives. This essay will largely agree with that assertion.
