Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is in order to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Tourism has finally come back to life after the pandemic wore off and the best-sellers in the bookshops are all relevant to learning non-native tongues. For some publishers, visiting foreign countries is the only reason that the readers buy those books. Whereas some foreign culture enthusiasts might argue the opposite. In the following essay, I will discuss both viewpoints and elaborate on the reasons why I side with the latter opinion as the initiatives of learning languages can be varied.

Many people believe that music is a universal language that can connect all kinds of people together whatever their race or age . I strongly agree with this statement and I think that music is a very important part of our world.

Nowadays, social media is apparently considered a bad effect in favour of personality and social life. I personally disagree to some extent, which I will elaborate more on below.

In time immemorial, faculty have played a significant role not only in flourishing and developing the mental faculty of individuals but also in shaping their overall well-being. Others argue that institutions do not contribute to the behaviours of future adults and I completely disagree with this notion.

Parents today often tend to organise extra classes on weekends or even after school. Do you believe this is at all useful? Or, do you think the education provided in school is sufficient?

Nowadays, education plays a crucial role in one’s life. In the modern era, it is a highly debatable topic whether students should attend extra classes after school or not. I will throw some light on both these notions. I will support my stand with pertinent arguments in upcoming paragraphs and thus will lead to a logical conclusion at last.

Schools are the first institute of every student. The basis of every subject was developed in early life. Most people argue that history subjects are more paramount than others while few have the vice versa opinion. Both visions have their own importance and that will be seen by relevant examples in this precise.

Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve traffic and pollution problems. To what extend do you agree or disagree? What other measures you think might be effective?

It is thought that the best way to stop traffic and pollution problems is to increase the cost of transport fuel. I completely disagree with this statement. Making petrol more expensive does not guarantee that people will stop using their cars. In my opinion, it is much better to make public transportation more available.

Some people believe that in order to reduce crimes, prisoners should be given longer prison sentences while some people think there are other alternative ways. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Curbing crime growth is an issue of broad interest to the general public. With a conflicting view on how to rehabilitate criminals effectively and efficiently, some people argue that it is better to keep them in jail as long as possible, while others believe that we can also apply more options to reform those who violate the law, which may receive a better result than employing a longer prison term. From my perspective, we should not take prison sentences as the only means of cutting crime.

Some people think governments should spend money in looking for life on other planets, while others think that it is a waste of money as there are many unsolved problems on earth. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In a bid to search for aliens living on the outside of the earth, some superpowers spend vast amounts of public funds on looking for creatures on other plants, imagining that they can gain benefits from them. Even were it true, we still may face potential risks brought by extraterrestrial civilizations. Therefore, I am in favour of the opinion that we should give top priority to addressing difficulties and challenges at hand, rather than something that seems impossible in the near future.

In the future all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

Self-driving vehicles are one of the inventions that can change our lives forever. It is predicted that they will be the main type of transportation in the future. In my opinion, I believe that the benefits they bring us are more than the drawbacks.

Some people regard video games as harmless fun, or even as a useful educational tool. Others, however, believe that video games are having an adverse effect on the people who play them. In your opinion, do the drawbacks of video games outweigh the benefits?

Nowadays, some people think that playing games can have a negative impact on players whereas others find games entertaining or even educational. While there are a number of benefits that games bring us, I would argue that they are indeed detrimental in many aspects.

There has been an ongoing debate about whether talented artists should be provided subsidies from the governments or not. While a number of people believe that governments are the bodies responsible for such artists’ income, I would argue that these people should be granted by other sources.

Schools should focus more on teaching students how to be successful in the workforce and less on helping them to achieve academic success. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, most of the education systems in the world encourage their students to obtain high scores in term of academics. But, it can be clearly seen that the awareness to train juveniles to face the problem of the real world, particularly in the workforce is emerging. I totally agree with this notion and will give several elucidations in this essay.

Developing children are highly impressionable. Their attitude and behaviour are often a result of their surrounding environment. It is rather difficult to determine whether a child’s guardian or school possesses the most significant influence on their mannerism. The following essay will explain how each of the two parties has important roles in a youth’s life. In addition, I believe they are equally influential.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating much fast food. It is therefore necessary for governments to impose higher tax on this kind of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Due to the eating of junk foods in some regions, the number of individuals who bother from some health issues has soared. It is essential for the administration to force higher taxes on this type of feed. I personally agree with that solution because the merits of that are noticeable. In this essay, I intend to discuss that.

Smartphones are becoming popular with the young generation. Hence, they can spend so much time on it. I think this is a negative development, even though, there is also a positive side to this statement. This writing will discuss more about it.

Artificial intelligence will take over most of the job opportunities in the future. Although effort that involves minor human interaction might take over by robots, there will be certainly a workforce needed to fulfil a profession that requires maintaining human relationships. This essay will dictate pointers to support why the human workforce cannot be completely replaced through machinery.

While technology’s negative effects are evident, I argue that computers and mobile phones can be helpful tools for the young to improve their reading and writing skills.

There is a conflicting view on whether sciences should be the sole focus of government finance compared to other subjects because of their role in developing a nation. In my opinion, I completely disagree with the argument because other disciplines have crucial roles in developing a child's education and the economy might suffer in an imbalanced job market.
