Some people think that having a set retirement age (e.g. 65 years) for everybody, regardless of occupation, is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive a pension at an earlier age. Do you agree or disagree? Which types of workers do you think should benefit from early retirement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Retirement age is an age when every working individual takes a break from work and gets paid for the services that they have done for their company. Some people believe that having a fixed retirement age for everyone irrespective of their occupation is unfair and certain workers should allow taking early retirement. I completely agree with this argument and I will indicate my view with examples.

If a product is good can meet people's needs, people will buy it. Advertisement in the media is no more than form of entertainment. To what extent, do you agree or disagree with their opinion?

Advertisement is a medium to entertain people as well as educate them about the product through visual effects. However, some people believe that individuals will purchase the commodity if it is important to them, regardless of what the media shows. I agree with the former statement, however, it is not completely true.

Maintaining public libraries is a waste of money since computer techology is now replacing their functions. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is sometimes argued that, with the introduction of computers, the authorities should not waste money on the maintenance of public libraries. While this could be the case for several reasons, my view is that traditional libraries have an important function that computers cannot perform and therefore should be maintained for public access.

Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It has been argued that, students should focus only on subjects oriented topics such as science and technology which help them in upcoming successful career growth, other think that all university student has their own choice to study whatever they like. In my opinion, youngsters have to choose a subject they like to focus on along with a subject which is really important in this modern world. This essay will substantiate both views in the following paragraph with the relevant examples.

Language has the strength to unite countries. It is a prediction of scientists that in the coming days, the world will communicate in a common language. Even I strongly believe that it is the only way to solve most of the hurdles at the international level.

There are different arguments related to the relevances of opting for a particular place to live. Pertaining to this, certain advocates believe it is beneficial to stay in a city while some critics oppose it as they feel staying in a village has more benefits. However, in my perspective I strongly believe living in the city is advantageous to an individual in many ways.

Music is believed to have the ability to connect people of distinctive cultures and ages. Personally speaking, this statement is totally true and this essay will explain the reasons for the view.

It is believed that learning something in a group is better than learning individually. I absolutely agree with this statement as it allows seeing different points of view and can help in achieving higher results through competition with others.

It is often believed that school uniform not required and a ban should be imposed on wearing them. I disagree with this point of view and counter this argument in the following paragraphs.

In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

With the advent of technology, numerous methods for reading books or officials have been introduced. It has been estimated that not even a single individual will purchase paper books as all the materials would be present on the internet without charging a single penny. However, I partially agree with this statement as online books are environmentally free and easily carried whereas, printable materials are easy to read. These points will be discussed in subsequent paragraphs.

Some people think children should attend extra classes after school, while others disagree. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

We live in an age where the knowledge base is increasing at an incredible rate. It is already struggling to catch up with recent technologies and innovations. Hence, some people are convinced that children's participation in additional classes can enhance their level of knowledge. However, I fully disagree with this conviction for the reason that pupils will be overloaded by extra lessons and that their brain should benefit from other activities as well.

Today , the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold . To what extent do you agree or disagree ?

Nowadays , advertising organisations play a very significant role to boost the sale of popular consumer brands , while most of the products are unnecessary for customers . I totally agree with this notion because without adverts it is impossible to do growth of market items . This essay explains the reasons why I agree with examples , followed by a reasoned conclusion.

There are various occasions in our life that we have to encounter unfavourable situations such as financial hardships and distress in one’s occupation. While some say that it is best to accept these downfalls; others, including ,myself argue that it is much more efficient to try to endeavour these hardships.

Many people believe that social networking sites (such as Facebook)have had a huge negative impact on both individuals and society. To what extent do you agree?

In this technological era, social networking sites are a hot topic to be discussed. There is a school of thought that Facebook and other networking sites are playing a destructive role in both individual life and social life. This essay agrees with this perspective to some extent and will elaborate on its drawbacks.

It is argued that some people reckon that conventional games are more effective rather than today's modern sports. Clearly, it has been justified that traditional games encourage kids to learn new skills and better cultivate their abilities. I firmly believe that this statement is true and will justify it in this essay.

It is predicted that the use of robots in our life is on the rise. What role do they play? Do you think robots will be of help in the future?

It is a prediction nowadays that the importance of robots in our daily life is on an increase. These smart machines can be utilized in the coming time in many ways to help humans. Even I strongly believe that they will be of immense value and it will have a positive impact.

Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The issue of advertising business has been raising a lot of debates. Some might say that marketing and the promotional product is a good way to influenced the community to purchase them. On the other hand, others insist on the opinion that the advertisements are not popular because people find them repetitive. Viewing from general perspectives, this essay will discuss both viewpoints and I personally following the former opinion for the following reason.

Treating diseases should be one of the governments’ top priority. However, health education and illnesses prevention should also be prioritized. This essay will discuss several reasons why governments need to spend more money on health education and illness prevention.

Littering in cities is an increasing problem which needs to be dealt with. Some people think that steeper fines is the best way to deal with the problem. To what extent do you agree?

Giving the fact that leaving litter in urban areas has become a contemporary problem, some could argue that the perpetrators should be highly fined for this in order to stop them from doing so. In my opinion, fining those who keep littering is not the solution to this issue, as paying the fine will not make them realize that this is wrong. I will explain further my idea throughout the essay.

Some people think that it is more beneficial to take part in sports which are played in teams, like football. Other people think that taking part in individual sports like tennis or swimming is better. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

In this day and age, more and more contemporary attention has been placed on the opinion that playing individual sports has more advantages than team sports. In my point of view, I support the latter view.
