Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give ypur own opinion.

Nowadays, advertising plays a significant role in our daily lives, due to the fact that we co-operate with it everywhere, in any situation. Part of our population is of the opinion that advertising influence people in a variety of ways to buy or recommend a particular product to others. However, there are citizens who state that most of the people are not impressed by adverts any more. From my point of view, marketing is an essential part of successful selling a product, that is why if it is well advertised the customers will definitely be interested.

Many crimes are often related to the consumption of alcohol. Some people think that the best way to reduce crime is to ban alcohol. Do you think this is an effective measure against crime? What other solutions can you suggest?

It is considered by most people that prohibition of liquor will lead to a reduction in the number of crime cases. In my opinion, I believe that this method will serve as an effective solution to curb crime in our country. However, I also believe that there are other potential solutions also, which can efficiently reduce criminal activities.

It is true that, for many people, the importance of buying a house is far higher than renting one`s.In my opinion, having own home is a positive trend and this is no doubt influenced by a variety reasons

Universities offer an online course for students. Do you think its a positive or negative development for students?

Following the number of universities offering lectures through the internet is increasing, it becomes a debatable issue for not only students but also academic institutions. Although, being aware of the effectiveness of an online course, I hardly agree with the idea since there are several issues offering an online course. Additionally, it can affect young students' development of social skills and ruin their prospects of the future.

In the modern world, people no longer need to use food or products from animals, such as medicine and clothing. Do you agree or disagree?

These days, thank to various advances and breakthrough in science and technology, human have more opportunities in replacing using animals for food or other purposes such as clothing and medicines. However, I would argue that it is difficult to need to use such animal products in near future

Many teachers hold the opinion of making institution uniforms compulsory. This essay disagrees with the statement because many are unable to afford them, and it’s a new way to make more money.

Although, some people argue that nations should open doors for foreign investors while others believe that countries should invest in local companies to strength the economy in a better way. I think in reverse manner and agree to the given statement. My inclination is justified in the following paragraphs.

Some people think it would be better if the whole family (uncles, aunts and grandparents) are involved in bringing up children rather than only parents. What is your opinion?

Family plays an important role in one’s life. Now, a child’s family in layman’s terms, are his parents and external family, encompassing his grandparents, uncles and aunts. Though it is often debated that relatives should be involved in teaching children rather than parents only, after all, both sides have its merits and consequences in upbringing their children.

Children in some parts of the world have less responsibility compared to children in the past. Some people think as a positive change, however, others think of it as a negative. What do you think?

Over the last half centuries, the pace of development in the life of human beings has increased beyond our wildest expectations. This transformation has been driven by the booming breakthroughs in science and technology. Consequently, there are differences in the amount of responsibility children have now and used to have before. It is being suggested that it is a positive switch that now children now have to take less responsibility in some parts of the world than before. However, some individuals consider it as a negative change. This essay will focus on the different perspectives regarding the responsibilities of children and why I believe that children should be accounted with less responsibilities.

Museums and art galleries should focus on works that show the history and culture of their own country rather than works of other parts of the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many people believe that museums should display artworks from the country where they locate rather than that of other places globally. I agree that museums are a valuable educational tool to learn about one’s own nation. However, museums should aspire to broaden people’s perspectives instead of narrowing it.

Leaders and directors in an organization are normally older people. Some people think younger leaders would be better. Do you agree or disagree?

Choosing a suitable leader is of paramount importance regarding the progression of a company. From my perspective, despite some outstanding qualities that young people may possess, the aged members are more qualified to hold managerial positions.

It is true that the number of car owners is increasing every day due to the demand for travelling from one place to another. Despite some obvious advantages of this trend, I would argue that there are outweighed by the disadvantages.

It is true that, for many people, the importance of buying an apartment is far higher than renting one`s. While there are some disadvantages of owning a home, I do believe, the advantages of having owned a home outweighs its drawbacks

Governments give a lot of support to artists, even though some people think it is a waste of money that could have been used elsewhere. Discuss both vioews and give your opinion.

People are immensely influenced by the entertainment media they are exposed to. It is a commonly held belief that the government censorship on the amount of violence shown leads to a reduction in violent crimes in the society. While I don’t usually believe in government interventions, I have a completely opposite view in this context, and strongly agree that government supervision on violent crimes shown in movies and television is crucial.

New technology has resulted in many jobs, which used to be performed by people, now being done by computers or robots. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

These days, due to technology and science development, the role of computers in our lives is more prominent than ever. Day by day, we see more humans vocational positions that are replaced by robots and computers. However, I believe, while this trend has brought us many benefits, due to inaccuracy and instability of computers, they can cause many negative consequences in our lives.

Some people think the government should focus on improving the economy of the country. Other people think the government should focus on social services such as health and education programs. Which statement do you agree with? Explain and provide examples to support your opinion.

An increasing number of masses argue that the state should mainly focus on improving their country's economy. While others say that the government should improve other departments like health and education system. I believe that both points have their own significance and will be discussed in the essay.

It is certainly true that many countries face the dilemma of whether to invite international companies for their economic development or diminish foreign enterprises to protect domestic businesses. I agree with these who believe that overseas firms should be invited to build their branches and factories in host countries for several reasons.

Although, it is thought by some, developing the well-being of its citizens, the Government ought to be taken several factors; other people believed that the focus should be on individual capability. In my opinion, I think that governments ought to be needed to give a primary eye on health sector to save its citizens life from various diseases and give them fundamental rights.

Some people think that books are loosing importance as a source of information and entertainment. To what extent do you agree?

Many people argue that e-books and digital libraries are taking the place of paper books. Thus, it is more likely that books will not be used to gain information and for entertainment purposes in the coming years, which in turn will lead to the death of paper books. I partially agree with this statement and consider that books will always be considered as an authentic source of information by some elderly people and teachers.
