Some people believe that an armed police force would cause a high level of violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Armouries and explosives, since the day they were invented, have become an indispensable means to maintain peace. It is, however, believed by a certain number of citizens that equipping policemen with heavy weapons would lead to severe battery to the public. In this essay, I will challenge this school of thought.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for government to impose a higher tax on this kind of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.

In the majority of countries, people are facing health-related issues due to excessive unhealthy appetite. By considering this threatening situation the government should add an additional tax for such type of edible items. I have completed a negative inclination towards tax implementation on fast foods and I feel that central authority should impart knowledge on a healthy diet and ban the consumption of health hazardous eatables. These are the best ways to deal with the problem.

Doing temporary work is usually regarded as a significantly negative impact on people’s careers in modern societies, but many adults are willing to spend more time doing what they like, rather than making money. In my opinion, the benefits of temporary jobs far outweigh the drawbacks of employees, and thus I am prone to support part-time jobs as it spares more free time.

Without doubts, sports have been attracting people's attention for centuries in spite of whether a person is interested in this activity or not. A lion's share of studies has provided the data that observing competition may make a person reluctant towards live participation. However, they were criticized by a strong opposition of scientists who claimed that famous sportsmen encourage the young generation to get involved in the sports activities themselves. Frankly, I am prone to support the latter opinion, moreover, all pros and cons of watching sport on television should be considered.

Relying on technology has been a universal way of dealing with any sort of problem. In this matter, it has been highly seen that how badly child behaviour has been impacted by violence on video. This essay agrees that the way media is portraying the disclosure and other programs have a horrible effect on kids. Further, it will emphasize by giving reasonable examples that is it may affect child psychology and also create mistrust for media.

Acquiring international languages is a wastage of time because electronic devices such as mobile phones and laptops convert languages appropriately and in a faster way. In my opinion, I completely disagree with this notion because learning a foreign language boosts the memory of an individual and also translating on electronic devices sometimes misleads the user.

Technology revolutionized our civilization and lives styles in a variety of factors. Many people believe that in the future, which is truckloads of years later, living would be much easier than today for a majority of the public, while there are a plethora of pessimistic people who wonder if this is true. In my opinion, compared to the past thousands of years we can certainly expect that life will be a lot convenient and less costly in the future for our future generations.

Some say that the media houses are being unreasonable with the high profile people by bringing on the surface their private movements; whilst other say; popularity has its price and that is compromised personal life. I believe that personal space is a basic human right and notable stars must also be able to choose, what they want to hide from the community.

It is a common aspiration among young people to run their own business rather than work for an employee. Do you think the advantages of working for yourself outweigh the drawbacks?

These days, it is a common aim of many people leaving university to try to start up their own company. They believe that that running a business has many advantages over working for someone else ,such as the freedom to make your own decisions. I agree with this point of view, but it is important to bear in mind that running a company does not suit everybody.
