IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 7
One of the main obligations in front of parents is how to prepare children for their future life and create to them possible conditions to get self-improvement. Some people consider that education provides all the necessary experiences for youth. From my standpoint, pupils need to learn life skills apart from studying time and the following essay will outline suggestions in favour of the statement.
It is being argued that overseas companies should be invited by other countries in order to open their branches. In my opinion, I am in the favor of above idea as it will not only increase the employment opportunities but also will benefit the trade companies in the export and import field. In the further part of the essay, I will explain my reasons in detail.
In today's society, there is a debate regarding whether children should be given the autonomy to make their own choices on daily subjects, such as food, clothes, and entertainment. Some argue that giving children this freedom leads to a self-centred society, where individuals prioritize their own desires above all else. Others believe this situation is essential for their development. This essay will discuss both views and present my own perspective.
Looking at the task below, which is concerning the way how the new generations, nowadays, spend their leisure time through activities that not required particular attention or responsibilities. Additionally, it's wide the way in which two wide views give the opportunity to think and declare a proper opinion about it.
Nowadays, some individuals are of the opinion that conducting scientific research should be surveilled by the authority rather than being controlled by private firms. Personally, I completely disagree with this suggestion.
Individuals are split when it comes to university education and getting a job. Some believe that, having a university degree is the best way of finding appropriate work. Others, on the contrary, assert that obtaining some related experiences as well as developing soft skills are more essential for a job. There are valid arguments on both sides, which I will discuss and conclude by clearly stating my viewpoint.
Some people think that hard work and determination are the key factors for being successful. Alternatively, some people feel that other points are much more important. Generally speaking, it could depend on their cultural backgrounds, growing-up environments, and personalities. As far as I'm concerned, I'm more in favour of the previous one.
Nowadays, responsibility in a marriage is a crucial factor. In fact, I agree with those who think that spouses must cooperate with each other to undergo their life for two main reasons.
It is said that there should be a ban on fossil fuel-based cars and people should be introduced to those running on electricity. I personally disagree with this statement because electric cars are expensive and often cause inconvenience to users for charging time.
There is no doubt that technologies are improving day by day. As a result, the importance of online shopping has increased. However, there are people who love offline shopping. Moreover, both these online and offline shopping has its own advantages and disadvantages. So, I don't believe that online shopping will replace in-store shopping. In this essay, I will make it clear with valid points.
Recently,crime rates have been increasing sharply all over the world and this rate causes lots of environmental problems . As a result , the public does not trust anyone because everyone can be a criminal on the streets . Yet , there is some disagreement as to whether the best way to punish criminals is behind bars or not . While there are certainly valid arguments to the contrary , I personally believe that lockup is necessary for punishment .The reasons to support my view are as follows.

The economy of many nations is getting affected which has created a state of depression among the folks of those countries. Space research is one of the biggest goals in our century and both private and public funds are engaged with this cause. I strongly disagree that money, spent for this purpose is meaningless.
In today’s world, more citizens believe that a penalty can bring more benefits to a nation. I completely agree with this statement, and I will explain further in this essay.

There is a belief that more available sports facilities for the population will lead to improvement of overall public health. However, there is also another point of view that it has so less effect on this. So, this essay will discuss both views.
