The debate surrounding the ideal length of the working week and the associated duration of weekends is increasingly relevant in today’s society. A significant number of individuals advocate for a shorter working week, citing fatigue and a lack of quality time for family and leisure activities. Conversely, some oppose this notion, often motivated by a strong work ethic or managerial responsibilities that prioritise profit. I firmly support the idea of a reduced working week, and I will outline several compelling arguments to substantiate my viewpoint.
