The continued rise in the world’s population is the greatest problem faced by humanity at the present time. What are the causes of this continued rise? Do you agree that it is the greatest problem faced by humanity?

It’s no doubt that in the last centuries the world’s population has grown massively, to the point that most people believe that this is the biggest problem that humans have to face today. There are multiple causes behind the increase of the population, such as the better conditions in which we live nowadays and the progress made through technology, and I agree that this is the most serious issue we are facing and that we should worry about trying to fix it.

Some people think that secondary school children should study international news as one of the school subjects. Other people think that it is a waste of valuable school time. What do you think? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

It is supposed by some people that international news should become a field of study at school, whereas, others oppose the same, and consider that studying it will potentially be a wastage of time. However, I am an advocate of the opinion that in this contemporary epoch of globalization such vital subjects should be read by pupils in order to keep themselves at par with the outside world.

Some people claim that not enough of the waste from homes is recycled. They say that the only way to increase regular recycling is for governments to make it a legal requirement. To what extent do you think laws are needed to make people recycle more of their waste?

A group of individuals are inclined to think that are being produced during the household and not recycled completely and it has the only solution for this that must impose the legal law. If questioned, I agree with this point to a large extent. My position is elaborated further with reasons and examples.

In recent times there have been more and more broadcasts exclusively dedicated to sports in almost every country. Some people say that you will fully enjoy the film if you watch it in the cinema, however, others say that we can use our phone or tablet to watch a movie. In my opinion, it is better to use your phone or tablet and, in this essay, I will state the reasons for my viewpoint.

Studies show that many criminals have a low level of education. For this reason, people believe that the best way to reduce crime is to educate people in prison so they can get a job when leave prison. Do you agree or disagree?

Many said that educating inmates in prison is the most effective method to reduce the crime levels. Although this way could be associated with some benefits, I believe that the government should implement better alternatives to tackle the problem

It is considered by many people that government should responsible for the arts, while others argued that spending money on fundamental human rights such as health and education is a responsibility for the government to safeguard. In my opinion, the argument that it is better to spend money on education and healthcare is an argument that is both advantageous and disadvantage by many. The two views will be thoroughly discussed and analysed before drawing a reasoned conclusion.

Today, with the significant increase in the number of producers of various goods, not only do buyers have difficulty in choosing the product but there is competition between producers to convince the buyers for buying their products. And here advertising plays an important role, the public believes that they buy products in the influence of advertising. I agree with this point to some extent but most public buy goods not because of adverts but because they need the produce.

Environmental issues have become much more serious and devastating over the last centuries. It is said that preserving existing natural species is imperative while some argue that there is more important environmental issues to tackle. I would support the latter opinion.

It is believed by some people that to enhance and improve the standards of livelihood on our planet Earth is more required instead of exploring life on other planets. I strongly agree that it is more convenient for us to save the existing place than to spend a lot on planets we are not sure whether life will be successful there or not. This essay will highlight the major points of this proposal.
