Government investment in the arts, such as music and theatre, is a waste of money. Governments must invest this money in public services instead. Do you agree or disagree?

Every year, the Government is spending a huge amount of funds to improve arts such as music and theatre. This is beneficial for a specific community and improves the fun and entertainment in society. However, I agree, that the development of public services must be the top priority of a government, I do not think that spending on the arts is a waste of money.

In this modern era, social media plays a vital role in society especially towards teenagers as it is easy to influence the younger generation through different platforms, e.g. television, cinema, etcetera. In my opinion, the drawbacks of telecasting violence on these platforms affect young people drastically. In the upcoming paragraphs, the detrimental ramifications of this issue will be explained and I would also like to share some measures that could help to minimize them.

Many people agree that volunteering work will benefit the young generation and also community cohesion. While I agree that assigning an appropriate workload of volunteer jobs to teenagers would encourage them to realize the importance of responsibility in the association they work in, I also agree that all efforts put into volunteering work could affect their academic performance as a student.

Violent topics and behaviour are often a part of this media. I strongly believe that overexposure to these can have adverse effects on the young mind.

It is debatable whether children should be stimulated to enjoy various programs on the telly or be prevented from watching them because of their benefits. From my perspective, both arguments are convincing to a certain extent, but I am still in favour of the latter thanks to its knowledge and a myriad of useful programs, especially that on smart TV.
